Havenāt tried it with a big bowl (cereal bowl, only), but the display is pretty visible.
The whole thingās about the size of a medium tablet, the display faces straight up, and one possible downside is that itās not illuminated, so you do have to look down at it and not from a shallow angle.
āThough even when I press down on the bottom, below the display, it still registers the weight, so you can try positioning the bowl so that it even hangs off slightly and see if the weight remains constant (Iām at work, so obviously canāt test it out here).
Unless youāre talking about a punch-bowl, I donāt think itād be a problem, though.
ActiveAl, could you please share how you came across the scheduled lightning deal information?
Iām Canadian and Iāve tried to find ālightning dealsā or special one-day prices on amazon.ca but havenāt been able to? Does anyone know if the same deals are even available on amazon.ca? (see photo below showing only a $6.00 off coupon on amazon.ca)
On a side note!
Hereās proof amazon recognizes the quality of BLF products! Especially considering that right beside it: the BEST SELLER is a 2-pack yhkj flashlight! :person_facepalming:
Here is a thread that helps describe the process I use to find upcoming Lightening Deals. Sorry, I can't help you from the Canadian viewpoint. Take care, and Thanks!
I hope itās made better than the BIBTIM zoomie that I bought a couple weeks ago. It had a very sensitive switch and the only way to lock it out to prevent accidental turn on is to completely remove the battery.
At $7 with coupon, itās hard not to buy this one, itās hard to resist buying it, even though it starts on high and appears to cycle through the blinky modes.
These kind of lights are a big gamble. I'm not even so sure if it's true 26650 or 18650 - text says one thing, pic says another, and the hand held pic looks more like 18650 but hard for me to judge.
