Maybe the FW3U should be changed to the FW3DU? Just for cost savings.
Raw uranium is way more $$$ than depleted uranium.

I would do BR for brass, and throw a BZ in the there for some Bronze love.

My advice, carry a cheap alternative which may be dropped and not borrow your brand new light :person_facepalming:

Whoa, wait! The “XX” is the whatever flavor indicator insertion you have, not a cheap knockoff. Like they do for 2X700 battery size listings.
The “appeal” part, is the less sting of the pocket for replacement of losing or damage, compared to the price tag and lottery luck needed for those high end lights.

Here is a link to the DEADWOOD CUSTOM WORKS flashlights sold on Recon 1.

Interesting. It runs a version of Bistro, modified so the 7135 channel drives color emitters separately from the FET channel, which drives white emitters. In practice, it’s basically Bistro except the lowest mode or two is a color instead of white. I should probably contact Recon1/Deadwood to let them know how free software works, since they don’t appear to be following the license terms (need to provide source code, or at least a link to it). This is pretty normal for anyone who is new to this sort of thing though, and I have a fill-in-the-blanks letter I can send about it.
