【convoy】H4 and B35AM options are updated

it’s ramping driver,so you can set whatever brightness you like.

ready to produce S2+ 21700,
no big difference from S2+ 18650,
diameter 24-24.5mm , almost the same as S2+ 18650
,but a little longer .
the reflector and pill are the same

Are you going to do the same with the C8+? A 21700 cell tube with the same head

So the quad Carclo optics will not fit in the 21700 S2+?

C8+ powered by a 35-40A 21700 modded with a FET and led4power spacer + 6x MCPCB gives some possibilities :smiling_imp:

Simon, have you contacted Toykeeper about a ramping UI for that S11? I’m sure she can help you

Simon, I’m very happy with your plans for the S2+ 21700
For me it is the extra stamina from the bigger battery that counts. For more power, the C8 21700 is a good candidate, and the S11 is a very good looking new flashlight too!

Hope they’ll arrive soon before the daylight time is getting too long  It feels like springtime in the Netherlands now (can still change any time though).

A convoy S2+ for 21700 and quad emitters would be nice but I would suggest the convoy S3 base body for this new 21700 because of its front stainless steel bezel, easier for swaping TIR lens. It also has a head shelf for the LED’s MCPCB (a bit less easier for swapping MCPCB than with a S2+ pill).
The S2+ is probably more versatile concerning the height of the MCPCB + TIR lens which is nice for modders.

As long as the head front opening doesn’t cover the LEDs front reflectors of the TIR, a triple/quad S2+ or S3 for 21700 is fine.

Compact 26650 and a boost driver! Me want this…
Hopefully no timed step down

I’m glad to hear about these new models.

C8 with a 21700 would be great!
I was expecting C8+ would have this feature.

I don’t care about E-Switch as I like rear clicky but I like USB port, preferably USB-C. Please make this compatible with carclo triple or quad optics too. Another idea is to have the USB driver and led driver separate like on the Nightwatch NA40
This way we can swap our own driver if we don’t like the stock driver. I don’t like the usb recharge in the Nightwatch NA40 hidden in the threads though. I rather it be exposed.

And like someone said, you can contact Toykeeper to help you design the UI. She designed the ones on the very popular Fireflies and I believe it is all for free. Also I like how Toykeeper’s Anduril has active temperature control. Only drawback is that when I gift Anduril lights to non flashlight people they often activate the many complex features and options by accidental clicking which can be annoying unless you are a flashaholic.

C8+ with 21700 with LED4Power’s 6x MCPCB would be freaking awesome.

I also won’t mind usb recharge since I gift alot of lights to family members and friends.

Poor Simon… Everyone wants knurling, and no knurling. USB charging and no USB charging. Metal button and rubber button. X and not X. Y and not Y. Z and not Z. :open_mouth:

I think I’d just grab a coupla beers and slide down the emergency chute…

I can see the desire for USB charging, especially with 21700 lights and how it might be a tight fit on some chargers.

I’d just ask that it’s hidden in the threads so there’s no rubber flap to let in dirt, grit or water. A couple of my USB charging lights have pretty useless rubber plugs.

I’d agree with SKV89 about making it compatible with readily available triple or quad optics. The larger size (over an 18650 tube-style) could potentially make for a great modding platform.

Once again, I’m glad to hear news of new stuff around the corner.

That’s only 64 different configs so offer them all, i don’t see what the problem is. The easy way out is to just offer the best light ever. I’d buy that, the best light ever (as long as it can take a 21700).
Oh wait, you missed battery options, that’s 192 different configs… still doable imio.

(On a slightly more serious note i’m tempted by the S11 and am looking forward to the 21700 S2+, definitely going to get a couple of them.)

I like the machining on the S11. Looks functional, new and cool!

USB charging and no USB charging: See JKK26 Cree XP-L flashlight: a simple additional section can be screwed in between the reflector and the battery tube that contains charging and powerbank electronics. Simon can sell it as an add-on later.

+1 … :+1: . .

Well, just in case nobody recalls wotnahell I was referring to…
