Hmmm, looking up the VG10S got me to realize that it really isn’t at all like the VG15S (which I have).
I always overlooked this light because the number was smaller, and I must have felt that was…worse? (Haha, never figured they were different product lines.)
From what I’ve read, it’s a tad brighter, throwier, and warmer than the VG15S - anyone else have a firmer opinion on the VG10S?
Yeah, it’s completely different than the VG15S. Both are shown in my review here. It’s built really solidly and has a ton of heat sinking. $15 sounds like a pretty good price for it. It has a super low moonlight mode if you’re into that kinda thing.

I’m sure its 1500lumen… Absolutely.
I have this gem in the 3 color “Sharp Eagle” variation and can give the following observations;
Negatives;
Pressed in tail switch
Thin gauge body tube
Loads of low speed PWM on low mode (color unit is 2 mode each color)
Pill? don’t know, never took it apart.
Positives;
Nice clear lens
Decent threads
Wide flood, lots of slide to zoom
Mine has a nut on back side for tripod mount, on the one listed above they do not show the other side so who knows on that
For $5 its probably worth a shot and good for mod practice if nothing else.
