[alive: M4D deal] jetbeam RRT1 950 Lumen

I'll probably receive it in 2-3 weeks. What questions do you want me to respond to? I can compare the control ring function to that of the Acebeam K40M.

Interested, subscribed. Thanks.

Build quality, runtime with graphs to see how driver is doing etc.
I have k40m too, control ring is perfect in that light.
Mike

which info is conflicting?

.

that 6 is a typo
this light is NOT 18*6*50 compatible, it IS 18*3*50 compatible

That be a real nice addition to this light if they offered a longer 18650 tube like Sunwayman did with the 14500 tube.
Hint hint Jet-Beam.
I’ll subscribe M4dM4x, I might be in for another if the price is right.

Thanks, that was the main thing. Else it says USB cable included but the light has no port, but as I have read into it a bit in that loooong RRT01 thread it seems that a 16340 is included with USB charging built in.

Thanks!

agree
like the RRT-2

yes

and fwiw, only Unprotected 18350 fit
and fwiw, the 750mAh Keepower 18350 does NOT work (unless you add a solder blob or magnet to the flat top)

and fwiw, the 1200mAh Keepower 18350 DOES work!

Chinese review with beamshots and runtimes

It’s nice of Jetbeam to humanize the tail.

thank you, that review also shows the new model is 26 grams heavier (53% heavier, empty) than the old model

Thats funny, as i was thinking about what would be the best UI, i thought why not use the good old potentiometer
This digital variant will be the same idea, very neat!

Interested depending on price.

Interested. Thanks!

i ordered one form HKE last week! Oh should have waited :frowning:

But if price is good and the light is nice, might order one more.

Interested. I love rotating ring variable brightness control. I just wish it had USB charging. Not a single magnetic ring brightness control with usb charge in existence.

true, but, the 16340 battery included in the new RRT-01 has USB charging built into the battery

the Olight Universal charger works well, for charging the 18350 battery I use in my RRT-01

it turns any light and any battery (both LiIon and Eneloop), into a USB light, or battery
that means I can charge both my RRT-01 and my Maratac, with the Olight charger…

.

choices are good:

if the charger is in the light, it means I cant use the light, so I prefer an option that lets me keep using the light by just changing cells and charging outside the light

Hy cant you use it if usb was built in to the light? I feel with usb built in will make this a perfect light for muggles
