【convoy】H4 and B35AM options are updated

only clear 18650 C8+ in stock currently ,sorry

the color of 21700 C8+ is black ,and it needs 20mm driver

Now i’m confused. What do I see here then?

That's great news Simon! :-) Will there be different versions of the C8+ 21700, e.g. tailclicky only, tailclicky + e-side-switch, e-side-switch only? Do you plan to offer both host version and full flashlight?

I want one 21700 C8+ SST20 4000K …

I guess this is the prototype for the S2+ Copper!

Simon said earlier he want to get rid of knurling on S2+ because it is the reason for a lot of scrapped host. So this will be the new design instead of old knurling.

Whatever that is I would say it would look good with some hex nut like shape on the bottom part of the business end and the tail cap, either cut into, or even better, protruding from the base material, as anti roll design, something like what Nitecore for ex. on the EC11, MT20C, etc.

And about the C8+ 21700,since it came to it lately, I'd like to see an XHP35 HI/HD versions with a boost driver if possible. Also, if it's not really out of the ballpark and still possible, maybe with a side e-switch and the same ramping UI like the Sofirn C8F.

sorry this one is copper S2+

sounds like Convoy L4,
it’s better to make a new model
tactical button (Flashlight can not stand upside down ), side switch, micro-usb or type-c charging port.

Hello Simon.
I would like to add my wishes on new models of Convoy:

  1. A new emitter XHP50 3 volts has appeared. And I think this is a great opportunity to update old models with an XML2 emitter. Most likely you will not need to make any changes to the old models except for changing the emitter to the XHP50 3 volts, since the xm-l has the same footprint, as the xhp50. And most XM-L optics will work with XHP50 3 volts.
Please consider this opportunity. I would really like to see Convoy S3 and Convoy M1 with emitters XHP50 3 volts.
  2. Produce frosted glass for existing models of flashlight.

I wish you success!

17mm and 22mm driver for SST40 will be available soon ,it’s suitable for XHP50 3V,too
frosted glass lens is interesting ,i think i can let the manufacturer to produce some

Simon,

I ordered a grey S2+ with a 4000K Ra95 SST20 and 4x7135 driver from Banggood and have received an e-mail from them stating:
“We’re sorry to inform you that the preorder for item ID:1420655 [Gray Convoy S2+ SST20 7135*8 7135*6 18650…] was delayed due to the manufacturing process.”

This is the S2+ i ordered.

This is the same product on your website.

Is there a manufacturing issue? I’m asking so i can decide whether to wait or cancel the order and order directly from your site instead.

seems banggood is having big issues with stock or whatever is the problem, my advice is buy from simon on aliexpress instead…

Agreed, should have bought my Nichia UV directly from Simon :frowning: stuck in BG purgatory now. Oh well. If it gets delayed again I’ll cancel and go direct.

But I can’t wait to see the S11 w XHP50.2 completed! Hopefully 80CRI 5000K J2 bin  or I’ll swap it myself, if need be.

Can you give me link for the Clear anodized 18650 C8+ ?

Could it be this?…

I don't think there is a C8+ clear version, but maybe I just haven't seen one so far..

MascaratumB, almost.

This is a clear C8, not a C8. But if no clear C8 available as host, I would take a few clear C8 hosts as well - just I think, a C8+ as host like these, but with clear anodization + translucent tailcap could be awesome good

(And I have a few LED stars and drivers piled up, so I would definitely need hosts.)

L4 is good but I like the idea of a C8+ type-C charge with tail standing. I like the C8 form factor because there are so many mods and parts made for that light. For instance, I want to be able to use L4P’s 6 emitter mcpcb

I would buy (10) 22mm to 17mm adapters. I understand you may need many more than that to justify the cost of making the adapters. I have many used 26650 cells that I would like to sell on with an inexpensive host. The newer 21700 cells seem to outperform the 26650 in every way that I can see and are manufactured by the major players.

My morning routine on my pc consist of checking my emails and then looking to see if any Convoy 21700 flashlights are available.
