Interesting. Does this charger communicate with a QC power source to handshake the jump from 5v to 12v input over usb? Or can it simply take 12v on the Vcc rail?
The UMS4 is QC 2.0 input available. When the charger is powered by a QC supportive device or connected to a QC
adapter, the screen will show “Quick Charge” and the single slot max output will achieve 3,000mA.
I cannot find more than that in the manual.

Man I bought 2 Nitecore UM2 for $27.59 a couple of days ago. I have only 18650, 14500, 16340 and 10440 batteries.
Wanted it for the 10440 batteries as HKJ said it can charge from 0.1amp onwards, whereas this starts from 0.3amps onwards.
