Something is not right with banggood and shipping times..

Very strange my 20$ L2 was shipped on 3 Mar with email notify expect delivery on 14 Mar but now the shipping date was changed to 5 Mar /16 Mar expect delivery date in the order details so wonder if it really shipped or it will change again ?

thats odd, if u go to that order, does it have a tracking number ? either its shipped or not, if u got email its shipped but its not then i dont know really lol
they seem confused these days about lots of stuff.

My apologies also for posting links to the website of USA’s “deleted contents”. I did not intend to offend anyone, but in retrospect my posting those links were a clear violation of BLF Rules.

Thanks a lot to those who went back and modified/deleted their inappropriate posts, it’s much appreciated!

Awwwww, what’d I miss??

Someone PM me
 :smiling_imp:

The Convoy S2+ was put aside for me  I found a website that actually gives tracking info where Banggood’s shows “Tracking info has not yet been received” on their app: https://postal.ninja

Count another victim for Banggood’s current state of shipping oddities. Item was in stock and ready to dispatch within 24 hours so I placed my order. 7 days later, my order is still “Processing” and then I get an email this morning saying “We regret to inform you that the item can’t be shipped with the shipping method you chose due to some specific restrictions of the logistics carrier” and I can either change the shipping method or cancel the order. I chose to change the shipping method but of course now the item is out of stock! :person_facepalming:

After waiting two weeks for the replacement xhp70 to ship for the L6 I received from banggood I gave up on banggood support and started the paypal dispute. I’m really disappointed by replies promising the replacement emitter would ship soon, then asking me to continue waiting and shifting blame to the supplier again.

You posted this after my potato post? So, if we talk about vegetables, this is now also considered rude here on BLF or was your post not referring to me at all?

Was most likely to do with the other link that was posted - someone implied BG were using money for an adult store

Ah, that would make more sense lol. You just never know though as this is an international forum and maybe even the word potato could be considered offensive to other cultures.

All you missed were some tomatoes and green beans...

And some secrecy - or something spelled very similarly :o

still waiting on refund on order, a rep said wait 72hours to get payment back, i have done that and still nothing
havent done a refund before should it take this long on paypal ? cant say im impressed so far how they handle a vip3 user that has spent a few hundreds dollar so far

Just hit them up via email (I’ve done iosservice@ or pre-sale@banggood.com) and ask if they can process the refund for (order number). Frustrating that you have to push for processes to happen (you think it’d be automated), but that’s the price we pay for cheap stuff, I guess!

sent mail, 4 days now no money and they dont answer
do i really have to make a paypal claim ? what do they think holding my money will gain them anything i dont get it why they do this ? :person_facepalming:

*We have splited the order.

The available item will be shipped in xxxx

Refund will be made in order xxx, please check your payment account 72 hours later.

Ahh, so it’s not only me then. Order from the very beginning of March and still no show. I usually receive orders from then in 10 days.

I filed a paypal complaint regarding the defective xhp70 in the L6 I received from banggood. Their reply was to wait another day. Several days later no further replies. After starting the paypal dispute I sent a pm to simon explaining the situation and he offered to send a replacement.

While I appreciate the offer, I’m not sure how to proceed. Banggood bears some responsibility for possibly knowingly selling a defective item.

If a storekeeper mishandles milk then sells the soured milk, is the farmer responsible?

they are responsible, if the light arrived broken demand a refund nothing else. im just happy i got my refund back today after 5 days wait.

Good question, I am not aware of any consumer protection laws that would protect you or help you in this case when buying goods directly from Chinese sellers. I wonder if it makes difference that Bangood’s paypal account says “London”.

I would continue with the Paypal dispute which gives you some kind of assurance in their complex agreement and if it fails and you paid with a credit card you have at least 2 statement periods to file a dispute as well.
Or did you just paid with Paypal funds, or bank account?

Regarding the storekeeper/farmer dilemma, I think in general, the seller doing business in Ohio or most other states bares all the responsibility for the goods sold. So in this case BG would be responsible for a “not as described” or “arrived damaged” item,

The farmer is not responsible in this case because he was not involved in the offer or contract at all. And it would be up to BG to deal with the farmer Simon regarding the repairs or exchange, not the consumer.

The fact that Simon offered to send a replacement is beyond the letter of the law, so his kindness is going above and beyond to protect his reputation and goodwill.
