192led (.com) feedback?

Okay looks like the tracking number was fake (as expected given others experience) - their whole tracking site is a fake; pretty elaborate really: www.ship2track.com

Domain name was only registered end of last December, and only provides the appearance of updating for their tracking numbers.

Have made a paypal claim so should get a refund. Kinda surprised paypal hasn’t cut off the seller by now; possibly they do and then they re-register as someone else though…

Yeah, I would think by now Paypal should have cut them off. Pretty bad they haven’t.

Just wanted to confirm that in my opinion it is fake.
I bought something from s6home and got a tracking number for ship2track.com.

When I saw the above listed tracking information I compared it to the number I received and the changes in the tracking are the same (which is very unlikely)…

!!

Just wanted to share…

It IS fake.
No doubt.

Yeah.

I opened a paypal dispute and escalated it right away.
Now I am going to get to know first hand how paypal will handle this…

Just filed a claim myself. Ordered 1 Shockli 26650 on Jan 6th. Tracking number is bogus and 2 emails with no reply.

Just got a message from PayPal. I am going to get my money back.
I am quite happy

Yup I got a PayPal refund too.

This place still a no go? They have some x6 hosts in stock that i want to pick up

That scam site still exists?

Stay away Jose marin, not much else to say.

Aww… I just bumped into this site, and they have (or should i say PRETEND to have) interesting items for interesting prices.
But apparently they do not deliver…
But with all these complaints, how do they still have a Paypal account?
Strange.

Good question. And the answer probably is that nobody yet reported their misdemeanor or criminal activities to whatever authorities (INTERPOL?).

I was curious so I tried to go to that site, but all I get is this…
!
Is it only me or the site is no longer working?

It works fine from where i’m sitting.

The site loads for me as well.

Hate to have to do this… but I joined this forum just to post this.

I, too have been taken in by 192led (.com) today. I thought I should post this here as a warning.

I was looping for a Rofis R3 and not having any luck funding any. Google search. Lo and behold, one of the top results shows that the scam site in question has them in stock at a decent (but not outrageously good) price. They ship everywhere, there is a 10% off coupon code, great selection of stuff. Great!

Paypal and other verified methods to pay are available, so I thought, why not? Seems legit. I go ahead and order two R3s, and some other hard-to-find stuff.

I got suspicious when I didn’t receive any confirmation email of the order or tracking#. I Google searched the site (should have done this first!) and found this thread. Uh-oh.

I wrote them a message and tried to contact them otherwise. No response.

Anyways, in the end I had to cancel my credit card just to be sure and asked for a refund. Will be filing a complaint too.

Don’t fall for it like I did!

PS. I’m still looking for the Rofis R3 or something similar…

> Paypal and other verified methods to pay are available, so I thought, why not? Seems legit.

I just went through placing an order in my cart and attempting to checkout

despite their site saying they take paypal, the checkout process only allows me to enter a credit card

at that point, Im out

no paypal, no purchase
I do NOT enter my credit card into ecommerce sites

let that be a tip

Aliexpress safe to use CC?
