✌ FREEME - ASTROLUX MF01S 15000lm Flashlight Group Buy - ENDED

will there be a SST-20 6500K version or oslon white 2 version too?

interested

They never tell me when they announce lights I have been working on for 6+ months lol.

This updated version should have much improved cooling then the old model, the fins are actually usable this time and the head has a better design. I am guessing around 2x the surface area. It needs it since it is now pulling a lot more power.

There are some neat options I have been trying to talk them into offering as well, looks like the SST-20 made it to the final light, we will see what other options make it though.

Looks like at least one color other then black will be offered so far……

Although for the record I have not signed off on a lumen rating for this light yet since I have not gotten a final sample to test.

yes they rushed it a bit to counter the new Emisar light
Also they contacted me and then decided to change Aux board to my design
Hope the prototypes come out well, sure some minor tweaks have to be done

Size?
Probably much bigger than D18?

Anyway: freeme, I can’t buy it but I would be glad to learn the price once the buy starts. Would you mind putting me on the list?

They made prototypes in black and 7 other colors, so lets see what in the end will be available on sale, sure they have to limit the color count

I’ve also talked to TA a few months back about the light using very high performance dual BeCu springs.

This light should be a treat to behold.

Interested!

It is slightly longer then the first MF01 but otherwise very similar in external size.

I have not seen a final prototype to see what they ended up using but they said they could be using BeCu springs, just not sure on the specs yet. I passed on the specs you gave me and they did not mention issues at the time but these things have a way of changing so not sure what will end up in the final light yet. I expect BeCu springs, just not sure on the specs. They melted some early prototype springs though, so I think they get the picture that the springs need to be beefy.
