There is much less room for aux LEDs with the individual TIR’s and holders.
I’m sure anything is possible but it may be easier to just mod some trits in the middle of that black mask. Doing like a small triangle, square/diamond, or hexagon depending on room.

I personally am not a fan of AUX Leds so prefer to pay less for one without.
I do really like glow in the dark O-rings though.

I like aux leds. Pretty. And not radioactive like Trits.
Best option is to get Anduril firmware so you can turn off the aux leds if desired.

Good point. Hopefully the tint is at/below the BBL on these... Of course the XHP70.2 has its famous fried-egg beam, and I'd have to swap mosfets on the driver of the MT03.
I just know with this, I'm gonna wish it was 14x Luxeon V. I'll definitely keep watching it, though.
Also, this is BLF. Someone was supposed to say "get both"

Scallywag: Get both. (sorry to keep you waiting )
I don’t like soda-can shaped lights, but I will definitely buy this one for that price…

ToyKeeper:
I’m glad I don’t have to keep this to myself any more.
… It’s like a Noctigon Meteor M43 but a bit smaller, a lot brighter, and with a smooth/stepped ramping UI.
That doesn’t sound like Andúril.
Is it RampingIOS v3 or RampingIOS v4?
I’m super excited about this, but would have liked it to be 21700 format.

I’m surprised to see that nobody asks about what optics the D18 use.
Ok, I can not wait to tell you, that in order to maintain a smaller head, and as pocket-able as possible,
we use 18 pcs single optics, and squeeze every tiny room in the head. Not a easy work for the assembly, the production speed is slow.
Nice idea! I was actually going to ask about this, but you had already answered before I saw the thread.
That could be tricky due to how the optics are installed, but if it can be done, so much the better to have the option.

I’ll have what TK is having, if you can make it.
I realize it takes significant effort to find matching Vf’s for a variety of emitters.
Worth it!

LOL! Amen to that.
“Here is a new flashlight I made.”
“What flashlight should I make?”
Apparently some people can’t tell the difference between the two.

I feel like number of equivalent Q8s should be the new standard measurement.
How does this new flashlight compares with the 'competing' astrolux MF01S? It also use 14 Sst20 leds but claim 1000 more lumen!
I feel like a competition is starting to come!
By the way, here are my suggestion! I like the desgin a lot! I hope they will be one with 'clear anodize' finish!

Texas Ace is the one who worked on the MF01S and advised he’s not signed off on the final lumen output as he still hasn’t received the final prototype.
Astrolux pushed that out ahead of schedule to answer the D18
