I agree, not sure why it was so hard for them to see that lol.

A clear version with some bezel selections or even set! I want Orange!
Can these batteries be used with this light? I know performance will be reduced but I want an every day option with some safety. I am limmited by local tax limit:
They’ll either trip, or it won’t go anywhere near max.
edit:: actually, even samsung 30Qs were a squeeze into the MF01; I don’t think they’ll even fit. I’ll let someone more knowledgeable than I answer that fully.
I’m interested
Interested. Price depending
Here are some comparison shots between the old MF01 and the new MF01S. I had actually not seen a side by side before, The new version is actually a little shorter.
Interested. Thank you!

klrman: Texas_Ace:I requested a clear option as well, they made one but it was after that last picture was taken: !{width:50%}http://pballandmore.com/images/2019/MT18-Color-10.jpg!:http://pballandmore.com/images/2019/MT18-Color-10.jpg
Clear version looks about 10 times nicer than the silver one.

I don't need another light, but you just had to post a pic of that clear one Oh well, one more light won't break the bank!
mortuus:any reason why not use 21700 instead?
I suggested this when the project started but they were hard set on keeping the basic size and shape of the first MF01.
I had to beg for them to make it a little longer so it could fit some extra fins and a thicker shelf.
Also, 21700’s in a quad cell light are not something I am supper hip on as the battery tube becomes to big it would be uncomfortable to hold for most people. So in practical terms it would need to step down to a 3 cell light and that would cause complications with the carrier since the light runs in 2S2P.
Also:
- 3 21700 cells cost more than 4 18650 ones
- capacity would be like 7% higher
- current delivery - the same
- light would be a slightly thicker, longer and heavier
- and already I consider quad 18650 to be the top of the desired thickness range
So…7% longer runtime and that’s the end of advantages. I fail to see why so many people desire 21700 in multi-cell lights…
