That is fantastic news, the JA3 bin (under the BBL) is nicer than the JC1 bin (above the BBL) that you had before. I will order some!

Hello Ban,

Will you consider sourcing SST-20 J4 GD2 3500K 95 CRI?

Couldn’t agree more, just for the record, when I have to search 801 pages to find something, I go any ware else…

maplins were really really bad for it… they even replied to emails with things like ‘well dont you know the product code?’. for those who dont know its a 27 digit of letters numbers and hyphens lol…off course we all know the product code, off hand, for all 15 million items tut….ffff.

For the record, I just made a few searches on Kaidomain:

  1. sst-20” returns 12 results, all of them contain the “sst-20” string in their title. Good.
  2. sst-20 blue” returns 1 result containing both “sst-20” and “blue” strings in the title. Good.
  3. sst-20 KDLITKER” returns 4 results containing both “sst-20” and “KDLITKER” strings in the title. As expected.
  4. sst-20 blue 2700K” returns 0 results. Good too.
  5. Both “sst-20 OR blue” and “sst-20 || blue” return 0 results. Logical OR operator apparently not supported.
  6. 18650 flashlight” returns 350 results. :THUMBS-UP:
  7. 18650 -flashlight” returns 4 results for Armytek ELF C1 and C2 multi-flashlights. The dash character does not work as negation logical operator.

As far as I am concerned, I am quite pleased with Kaidomain's search engine. If anything, the addition of some logical operators would help.

However, listing only 15 items per page by default is lousy. Raise that figure to no less than 50, or maybe 100.

^:)

P.S.: compared to Banggood's search engine, the Kaidomain's one no doubt earns my seal of approval. ;-)

I have never done a methodical test on website’s search engines, nice to see that done, I just get annoyed that it goes wrong all the time. The OR operator for searches has been around since I first used Ilse, makes no sense to leave that out in a search function for websites.

So my latest order from the 6th march has arrived today. The one I screenshotted earlier (ORDER ID 3610) should have been shipped (according to KD customer supoort) but this would been 30 days ago. I think some shipments got lost somehow!

we really shouldn’t encourage folks with false hopes here… ok so you found 1 flash light, that hardly excuses the normal BS.

Hi BanL,

I have an order processing since 06/03/2019 and everything is in stock.
Can you check why my order still not shipped.

Thank you and have a nice day.
Regards

I ordered from KD on 5th, they sent on the 7th and it arrived the 13th, i was stunned! Very quick. And it was well packed with everything correct.
I also ordered on the 11th, received notification today (16th) that it’s been sent, slightly longer but still quick.
Feel like i’ve had 2 wins in row. Thanks KD!

(That’s not in response to those whose orders haven’t been shipped yet btw, i’m genuinely thankful.)

And now i feel a need to order the JA3 2700K SST-20. Will it be 3 in a row?

What were you searching on that netted 801 pages of products?
Maplin products were referenced by a 5 or 6 letter SKU, not that it changes their customer service but it could have saved you some typing if you’d know that at the time!

Hi allegreto

Please don’t worry.

Your package had shipped out and is processing in our logistics courier service provider.

I will get the tracking status updated on today.

Thank you

Ban

Hi Ban,
Last year (I do not know when exactly because I never made an account on KD) I bought 2 XHP35 Hi leds, 4000K 80CRI from Kaidomain.

I have used them both in a flashlight now and measured CRI, both are 70.1 CRI, so not 80 CRI as listed on your site. Is your whole batch 70 CRI, or are you currently selling a different batch? As you understand I’m a bit disappointed.

Thanks

Hi djozz

Let me verified with our current stock.

Sorry for any inconvenience cause to you.

Ban

Thanks for checking. As for the inconvenience: the 70CRI leds that I used have good output and a good tint so the flashlights that I built with them are still nice enough. But I really wanted the 80CRI, that is why I bought the leds.

Hi BanL,
Can you please give me some advice where to get this plasticine and white potting compound you use on this driver?

Hi Lux-Perpetua

This is RTV Silicone.

Thank you BanL! :+1:

Is there any way to reach you besides of this thread? I have some technical questions concerning your H1-A and H2-C drivers (mostly about tweaking them with alternative resistors to run them with 12V LEDs like XHP35). I also sent you private messages before but did not get any response so far. I also started a new thread that I would like to invite you to: WTB: XHP35 20mm Boost Driver (improvements of Kaidomain H1-A)

It would be great if you were to help me as these tweaks might be beneficial for Kaidomain, selling a high performance XHP35 boost driver for flashlights like the brandnew Convoy S11 or Convoy L2 or your own KD-brand flashlights, of course.

Cheers, Thomas

Hi Lux-Perpetua

Sure. I will take into that.

I am sorry for the late reply.

I will get back and catch up the thread.
