Liteon LTPL-C16FUVHxxx UV LED

Lite-On has a family of LEDs very similar to Prolight PQ2N
It’s called LTPL-C16FUVHxxx
So far the family has just one member, a 405 nm LED.

On paper I fail to see any advantage over Prolight:

  • slightly higher Vf
  • slightly dimmer
  • costs more
    • but still it’s not very expensive
  • 405 nm

But nevertheless - these are very very similar so maybe it would actually perform better.

CSP? I don’t think so.
Technically the term CSP is about size, not necessarily whether it’s flip-chip or not. Either way, I see bond wires on a die in a relatively large package…

You’re right. I found it while looking after CSP LEDs but that just don’t seem to be one. And the maker doesn’t even claim that it is, so it’s purely my error. Blink and it will be fixed.
