Flat Top to Button Top: cheap & quick 18650 conversion

I realized my Sofirn Q8 will not take flat top 18650 cells which were the only ones for sale at the time. So I had to come up with a solution:

thank you. I had a couple of 10440 cells that were flat tops, and were not long enuf to use in my Acebeam UC15 light. I’m not good at this stuff but I gave it a try, and they now work. It’s not pretty, I needed a large solder blob, a got it.

Thank you! If I can do it with my unsteady hands and my cheap equipment anyone can do it BTW it is really difficult to get button tops over here at the moment. Amazon.de used to carry many lithium ion cells but those days seem to be over.
