Giving a real high list price makes the sale price look better. Why else cross out the high price when you could just not show it?

If it were $79-$89 preorder they would not sell many because it’s way more than the competitions price. There is no point going into production if the price is going to be excessive.
Astrolux usually has good prices. Look at the S43S and FT03 selling at $30. That’s a real bargain there.

The built in charging gives it a real advantage, so even $55 would not be so bad.
I hope this one has some good tint emitters. The SST-20 4000k FB4 tint bin that everyone is using is too greenish. Any chance we will get XP-L HI 5D like Emisar or 5A like Fireflies. Those are really nice emitters.
