Lumintop GT micro

I totally understand. :+1:
But, I’ve heard it said; possession is 9/10 ths of the law….

Well it’s also been said “treat people the way you want to be treated.” :innocent:

Same as mini, anyways. I just directly quoted his full post. Wanted to highlight the 40 piece thing, actually.

Exactly, I totally agree. :+1: … :innocent:

That is why my comment had these… +   + … behind it, denoting it was a ‘joke’. :innocent:

joke (jōk)

  2. A mischievous trick; a prank
  3. Something that is of ludicrously poor quality
  4. Informal
  • a. Something not to be taken seriously; a triviality
  • b. An object of amusement or laughter

teacher, I got your joke. It’s all good. :+1:

Whut?? :open_mouth: . I figured all along you “got it” DavidEF…. :smiley::smiley: … :+1:
But I got to thinking ’some one’ else might not.
It been “all good” all along my friend. My apologies if it came across any different. .

I ordered mine on 2/23 and shipped today 3/19, Yippee!!!

Same here. Now I gotta try not getting antsy.

Neal responded - said it can ship today, with the E07 you ordered. I know with me in the past, orders got held up by Neal if I had another separate order placed on an item he didn't have on-hand in stock, so he can ship them together. No special treatment, I don't think

Thanks for all the help! And I hope the E07 is the improved version already. It will be one of the better packages to receive, looking forward to it

The DHL package arriving today is not from Neal. It is from KaiDomain… they just never bothered to give a tracking number. Was hoping…

Hhmm. I usually get a shipping notice email from Neal's store and that has shipping/tracking info - it looks automated. Dunno - he may upgrade my shipping if something special. Frustrating though that email is the only place the tracking info is.

I get DHL texts, they state Country of origin but not shipper.

Been having some fun with my GT Micro…. seems to pack a nice punch for such a small light. Also the throw beam is a lot more usable than I imagined; the spill is quite usable for my evening walk. The farthest target I can hit here at home is about 650ft (200m) and the light reaches easily with more to spare. And fits nicely in the side pocket of my hiking pants.

If you have not seen this POLL CONCERNING GLUED LIGHTS , please check it out & vote…

It is an attempt to get one light manufacturer to listen concerning using glue to seal their lights. Maybe other light companies might listen also. . :+1:

Take a few seconds & vote……

‘NO GLUE’ is the goal. Hopefully, this poll will help achieve that goal.

Teacher, from the flip side of the coin I see why they glue… for one thing to lock in the warranty, can’t have a warranty if people are going in mucking about with the innards. And for safety reasons as well, not everyone that mods knows how to mod.

I don’t often sell lights I build because I build hot rods, I spend the time making them do all they can do, within my abilities, and invariably someone gets ahold of my light and wants to see what I did, opens it up and destroys the focus, breaks wires, or just in general mucks up what I spent a couple of hours getting right. I want to glue mine too! (in part to help keep ME from modding them again!)

That is a valid concern DB Custom, I agree. :+1:

It would be great if they could come up with something to indicated the light had been opened without using tons of glue though…

I wonder how Convoy (Simon) handles the warranty thing considering he does not glue his lights??

Being as how Simon is a really nice guy, he probably takes a beating in the warranty department. A VERY high percentage of that not being an actual warranty issue…

And yes, I hear you, but in the big picture they probably only have a single digit percentage of lights they make that actually get opened and tampered with. We are a limited few here on BLF, the world market buys em to use and that’s that. I know quite a few flashaholics that are afraid to open a light, seems to them that even if they just take the bezel off they mess something up (fingerprints on the reflector being a number one concern). So, we are a very small if not quite silent minority…

/\… Yep… :+1: … Not “silent” at all.

Got mine today. Stuck a battery in it and it came on as I screwed up the cap. And stayed on. No modes, no ramping, and no off. Fortunately a quick clean of the head did away with that and now it works perfectly. Smaller and much nicer than I thought it was going to be, and quite powerful.
