Something is not right with banggood and shipping times..

:+1:

Five days after escalating the paypal case regarding the L6 I received from banggood paypal is still waiting for their reply.

Good!! :+1:

Banggood shipping to Australia was very good. About 2 weeks.
Now I have 2 orders supposed to have shipped on 03 Feb & no delivery as at 15 Mar.
Definitely something going on with their shipping.

weird, do u even have a tracking number or is it free shipping ?

On February 20, I ordered Amutorch X9 on BG. The flashlight has not yet been sent. When ordering it should be sent in 11 working days, then it was not in stock, then shipment in early April and now is not in stock again. :rage: The last few orders are disaster. Several months of waiting :person_facepalming:

yeah something is really strange i dont know how to explain it seems like a rollercoaster if certain items are in stock or not…

I also had an order and i had notice the “processing” take longer than 24 hour. So i decide to contact BG via email. Well, they response back which mean they had good customer service. About the item, they tell out of stock and ask to wait to 20 april. Then they ask me to choose whether to wait or refund back. I choose to wait. For me there isn’t issue here, YET! I guese had to wait this date: 20 april 2019 and let see if they really hold their word. Because if they don’t, “risk is high”.

My biggest issue lately is “tracking” - yeah okay haha. Shipped on the 5th March, and still not a peep on any tracking sites whatsoever.

Hover over “Shipping Info” in My Orders and get “No Tracking Number Available”, but if I go into the order, there’s a number. Riiiight.

i have an order that is soon almost one month old, its shipped long ago with priority direct mail but still tracking number shows nothing,

Order Placed Date: 2019-02-28 07:10:27
Shipped Date: 2019-03-03 13:49:41
Expected delivery date:
2019-03-23 13:49:41

and my latest order after that i will probably get soon, this doesnt make any sense to me :person_facepalming:

The shipment item has arrived at the country of destination.,The shipment item is under transportation
Mar 21, 2019 12:45
The item is on transport to the country of destination
Mar 19, 2019 16:31

Yeah, kind of useless. This was part of a split order, The first part shipped out on the 3rd arrived on the 11th and tracking worked-ish (not on their site, had to go to postal.ninja/en/) ; second part shipped on the 5th and not a peep.

Sigh.

sent them a ticket, order placed feb 28 and shipped march 3 should have been here long ago with priority direct mail, unless they messed up and shippied it with standard free shipping then i will get mad…

And it will never make any sense either. That’s just how it is sometimes with shipping from China. :frowning:

I have an order that is very similiar to your situation right now…. except it was ordered longer ago than yours was. :open_mouth::slight_smile:

Sooner or later they will come…. I hope anyway.

Free shipping so no tracking. Value is around AUD25 so not expensive.
I’ve raised a complaint & starting to get the usual run around.
Please wait 18 more days etc. etc.
so I guess I will wait a few more days, may be delayed by bad weather !!!

Finally received.
Took 2 months to be delivered because —-
Was told package was sent on 07 Feb but package was marked sent 02 March
Not very honest Mr Banggood

Well, after a ten day wait for banggood to finally reply to paypal and two days review paypal presented me with one option - ship the defective light back to banggood (China) at my expense and provide tracking info. After banggood confirms receipt paypal would issue a refund. So, rather than providing a replacement emitter as was promised by banggood or partial refund to cover the cost of a replacement from a reliable seller with paypal’s solution banggood gets the light to resell to another buyer and I’m out the cost of shipping. That is, if they do acknowledge receipt and are honest about the item’s condition. Over a month wasted trying to resolve this and thanks to paypal I wind up getting screwed. No option to disagree with or appeal this decision, just upload tracking info. This was my first paypal claim after over fifteen years as a paypal user. So much for paypal ‘buyer protection’. :rage:

If I sent the item via usps priority international which provides tracking the prices START at $25.85. Paying $26.00 so maybe I’ll get the $40.57 back is NOT an acceptable solution. :person_facepalming:

That’s the big issue with buying stuff from China. It’s usually not worth it to ship something back for warranty claims or “buyer protection”.

I think in the long run you save money over buying more local, but every once in awhile you get screwed.

wow thats terrible, u should call paypal or so and ask to talk with a supervisor, ofc u will not send back a light that was defective from the start, they should atleast cover half the loss or something :person_facepalming:

Hello everyone. I realize I may have just been lucky but all 3 orders I made this month (2 flashlights and a set of micro screwdrivers; all listed as in stock) with regular cheap shipping all arrived in exactly 2 weeks.

Look into PayPal’s “Return Shipping On Us” or something like that. It should cover return charges up to a certain amount.

https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/returns?gclsrc=aw.ds&gclid=Cj0KCQjwj9LkBRDnARIsAGQ-hUfnwzt1TnXulqqudYdEei8iOV0NMXw7bCDlcXwH7BYOgvj5xVHSwOcaAs1kEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

Unfortunately returning the item is not an option at this point. All I wanted was a replacement emitter. Knowing I’d have to install the replacement I requested Lexel build a 30mm buck driver with anduril for the L6 and an anduril 20mm buck driver to give new life to a totally unreliable group buy crelant v4a (now driver-ready modded for 2s2p 14500 with bypasses and mtg2 q0 5000k installed). Drivers are paid for. I wanted to hold banggood to their promise to send a replacement emitter but it seems even after their delay tactics and empty promises paypal sided with them, even with emails exchanged and photo of the half-functional emitter. I could take Simon up on his offer for a replacement emitter but that allows banggood to continue their less than honest practices.

edit: Requiring me to ship the light to banggood at a loss of 2/3 cost for shipping vs cost for banggood shipping a repair part with much lower shipping due to size and weight is insulting and shows an anti-buyer bias if the seller is big enough.

fwiw, as a former army 35h calibration specialist and 35g biomedical equipment tech (when we troubleshot and repaired equipment to component level without software or firmware) the inferred idea that replacing an emitter is beyond me is insulting. b@^$good is on my $#!^list.
