Are you a flashoholic?

I think about flashlights a lot, like every day. Guess that qualifies me, I voted yes

Flashaholics 12 step guide:

When I’m out with people do I sometimes get bored and start thinking about how much fun I could be having playing/modding/buying/researching flashlights? :smiling_imp:

if an addiction is logical, then yes I am.

Of coarse Not—Denial is the first sign of Addiction

Without question. We’ll see if it holds long term.

Gonna have to vote no on this one :innocent:

No longer even a question if:

You can’t remember when you past a hundred lights

You can’t remember how many you have given away

You can count at least 80 within arms reach (with batteries)

Your wife stopped asking if that’s a new light on your desk

:person_facepalming: :person_facepalming:

Like the saying goes “If you have to ask?”
:smiling_imp:

You’re browsing a flashlight forum and making posts.

If you’re reading this thread, the only correct response to the poll is “Yes, I am a flashaholic.”

I haven’t had one all day, but I may need one tonight. So is that a no, or am I in denial?

Second sign of Addiction—The people you hang around encourage you to have another round ( Group Buys )

Hey guys, feel free to look at my posts about this subject. Ha Ha.

It is more about learning the skills to build them i was going to put my lathe in the dinning room but it was too big and heavy to get it there. I do have a mobile welding bench in the kitchen and the best thing about TIG is no splatter so i can weld on my coffee table.

Mmmmmm, I love flashohol…

You got me! My name is moderator007 and I’am a flashoholic and this is my story.

Not really sure if I should vote yes or no. I use torches all the time, and I do a lot of stuff related to them… but it has been ages since I actually bought one. At this point, I mostly have prototypes and parts.

With my very limited flashlight library and knowledge, I don’t think I am. I have very few working flashlights to call it a collection.

Being a torchaholic isn’t just about buying lights.
You spend many hours on driver firmware code and I spend many hours making the bodies, neither of us has bought a light for a while but I bet we’re thinking of something related nearly every day.
Of course, we could stop any time we wanted to.
