I run chrome on mobile for 99% of my forum browsing. This forum has a bar at the bottom of each page asking if I want to see a simplified view.
I assume this is on my end? Can I disable chrome from asking me? The bar is annoying and I don’t find the simplified view any easier to read.
I don’t use Chrome on mobile, only Firefox and Opera. The tab system is way better in both, and Firefox actually remembers exactly where you were in page scrolling if you close then re-open it.
I don’t at all think chrome is best or anything Google fan-boy like that but unfortunately I’m stuck with it cause of my RC hobby.
The flight controllers I use are interfaced with OTA using chrome app add-ons so that’s what have I use.
It doesn’t always ask me if I want the simplified view, probably only 75% of the time but on a tiny phone screen it takes up real-estate I could be viewing.
1. Open the Chrome browser on your device
2. Go to Settings > Accessibility
3. Uncheck the “Simplified view for web pages” option
