Sofirn C01S SST-20 4.000K 95CRI / Low-High version available again!

Fair enough. With only 200 being made it doesn’t make sense to go through all that trouble. I really like the body design of this light, the UI not so much. Now if only we could see a modding scene for this light

Is there a chance that Sofirn could increase this number in case of higher demand? Why only 200?
Learning from 3200K C01 quick sale and lack of availability I would like to buy at least 3pcs of black 3200K BLF C01S if that’s possible.

We can always ask once it is proven that the BLF version sells fast.

A nice flashlight but a bit too long for keys

In turbo, only 30 minutes on white Eneloop.

That was to expected, the 85 lumen from the 95 CRI SST-20 would be more than 150 lumen from a low CRI XP-L, the driver does a good job squeezing the current out of the battery.

How much time can we expect on low?

great pictures maba, what lens?

How do you feel the beam compares to the 3E EOS? Does the C01S have TIR?

For a key-chain light the beam shape and tint of the Olight has been perfect for me.

I would probably use this as an EDC pocket light due the length and appreciate the few more mm in the hand.

Only low-cost Canon 50mm / F.18

Similarly, the same level, is OK.
SST20 is green but there is nothing to complain about at this price

Got my C01S and I love it

Can someone give me information about magnet and trit size?

Weird thing is I got it without clip…shouldn’t it come with one?

trit size is 1.5x6mm

magnet is 5 x3mm

Should come with clip for sure.

Thank you

I didn’t get one. Will contact them.

Waiting for BLF Edition

My clip was so stiff it’s nearly impossible to use it.

Just got my C01S today. Ordered it March 14th and it came today. Really nice tint, right in my personal sweet spot for CCT. I already have glued my magnet in, and am still debating whether or not to order some trits. Right now I don’t see the need, since the way I am using the lights having a trit would just be window dressing. But this is definitely going to be my back up EDC light.

Just reviewing one now, I’d prefer 1 lumen to 3 tbh so kids can use it for a night light, especially as there’s a diffuser for it.

I’m quite impressed though, I always thought I needed 150 lumens for dangerous dark walks but the light is all in one usable generous hotspot.

A potentially cheaper alternative to tritium is to fill the slot with glow-in the dark material. Obviously that dims away over a couple of hours, but still helps you locate the light for at least a little while.

Flashaholics, it’s interesting how little light you can get by with once you try, isn’t it.

The nightlight idea is interesting. 5+ times the runtime with. I know a user on another forum requested a custom Fenix E01 from Vinh with a Yuji and a resistor mod that dropped the output to 2 lumens.

For a couple years I EDCed a Streamlight Protac EMS. A nice little single AA light. It had like 3,10, and 50 lumens as output. I found that the 50 lumens was more than enough for everyday use, and the medium setting was great for looking under bottom shelves and the odd far corner of the walk-in fridge and freezer, both of which only had one light, mounted on the front wall at top of the door height. Made it a little hard to see what was down lower in the opposite corner.

Any updates for the BLF version?
