I’m interest in buying 1
Looking forward to this!
Aircraft Gray, FW3A
It even rhymes… …. It was meant to be!!
Maybe “FW3A Gray” can be a RAL standard color…
Considering it's made of aluminum, Aircraft Grey fits nicely.
I’m in for two more (in addition to #332 and #686) for a total of four.
Hopefully in time for Christmas:)
That is great! Loved it!
Please put me down for 2 more lights. (4 total)
Thanks.
We are getting closer…
Please put me down for 1 more, for a total of 4.
i dreamed about this light lastnight with the samsung emitters… then i woke up realized it was just a silly dream…
Why was it silly?
April 8th, 3:41pm FW3A update:
Barring any unforeseen circumstance, this week, 2 samples will be sent to 2 members here in BLF and one sample to a member in TLF.
The final approval from the three persons will pave the way for the light’s mass-production.
As usual, in the meantime,
A photo of the version of the sample light to be sent to the 3 members:
(Isn’t it a thing of beauty?)
@tatasal: Thanks for the update.
Things are looking good!
Good god that’s sexy. Bring on mass prod.
Oh my…
It teases me to get two or three but my significant half wouldn’t be happy with it :person_facepalming:
…but the other, insignificant half will be!

My term for the design of the FW3A is:
it’s elegantly-simple

/\ I like that, & totally agree.
BurningPlayd0h:Shaved LH351Ds are quickly becoming my favorite emitter, for single emitter lights at least.
That’s something I still need to try. It sounds really promising. At least, it’s a good way to make use of those dog farts.
Bob likes his dedomed LH351
I’ve done…. maybe 30? A couple dozen for customers, but also a handful of my own personal lights. I have one completely dead light and one that misbehaves, but my success rate has generally been quite high. I’m also using a much more gentle reflow method I’m really happy with now. No takers on the dedomed LH351D yet, but I rather like the one I built for myself. A significant improvement on the regular LE since the tint is awesome on every level, not just turbo. I also recently built a 219B Zebr…
I really hope for that LED.
