Olight M1R Warrior release date ?

Anyone knows when the new Olight M1R Warrior and m2R will come out, is it even this year? some pics here at a german site,

I have heard rumors of possible delay or cancellation of the M1R model (I do not know if we can apply that information to the M2R or not)…

Regards

I don’t have any info on the M1R but I’m confident that the M2R will reach the market.
I’ve made a user manual translation of the M2R in French for Olight.

M1R is cancelled for some strange reason, while M2R is coming soon (hopefully before end of September 2017).

I just received an email about the Olight M2R preorder with delivery October15

I should have my M2R for review in a few days

I feel like Olight let us down this year. I was actually excited about the M1R. But… now after my new D1 and D4 who cares about the M2R. My M18 is still working fine, the M2R is a yawner :weary:

Well, the M2R Warrior has emerged in the Manufacturers section of the other forum.
And frankly, it’s the first Olight in a long, long, time that reaches parts that other Olights cannot reach.

I like that it doesn’t have to have a proprietary battery to charge in-light like previous models. That’s nothing but a shot in the foot if you ask me.

Still, I’m not sold.

Don’t get me wrong, it has some nice bells and whistles.

But I think I’ll keep my powder dry and my money in my pocket, until something closer to the M1R comes out. Size and weight are the big thing for me.

We all have our personal reasons to like or to dislike something.
Otherwise we all would be driving in a car made by OmniCorp and 90% of mankind would die alone.
These reasons may be different when we grow older, or just grow. Won’t see me in a Speedo no more.

Sometimes choices are made on the basis of lists, sometimes on the basis of a gut feeling.
Once I bought a light that had all the pro’s and no con’s. And on paper it still has IMHO.
I carried it one day and then gave it away. To a good friend, who is on cloud nine with it.

Epilogue: Dont know how I feel about it once I have it in my hand, but so far the M2R is looking good.

I have to wonder if Jack Kellar hit on the reason for the delay of the M1R. No Olight “18350” battery.

Let us know about the magnetic pressure switch, I don’t see anything about that yet either.

Will do :+1:

ah, still not sure about this one, i mean 1500 lumens for like 2 min or so before stepdown? i wish they made the head a bit larger so the heat wouldnt make the max lumens so short…

Doubt it’ll even get to 2 mins before step-down (the Klarus XT2CR steps-down from 75 secs from cold (and less if warm).
Still, the UI looks quite good.

Will this light ever be made? I really want it. My M2R is just a liytle to big for edc.
