Interested.

However, i’ll wait for reviews before pulling the trigger. I got disappointed a couple time with new and promising Astrolux lights before, so i wont rush on this one - although i already have a V2 MF01 Nichia modded by Lexel with TA driver, Narsil and GITD tape under the optic, and it is one of my favorite lights. This new edition should be even better!

Where do we vote for colors?
I’d fancy tan or clear or gray…

Interested for one, depending on pricing.

I got the sample SST-20 LED’s in the other day and tested them out. The 6500k are CW but really good for that tint.

The 5000k are also great at med-high power levels and acceptable at low power levels, better then XP-G3 or the 219C’s they sent me before. The output is better as well.

We are still hunting down some 4000k 95cri SST-20’s from below the BBL. They are seriously hard to get, they might be a very limited quantity type of deal. Although the fall back are the normal FB4 tint that everyone else is using which are still good. I have been using these in my prototype for awhile now and it really works great.

I don’t care about HCRI even like others do, the SST20 6500K are the best SST20 tint IMO, I’m a huge fan of cool white, hope to see them make it into the production light! TA how many lumens and candelas did you measure with the 6500K?

I didn’t install them in a light to get readings, I just bench tested them as it was too much of a pain to try them in a light for the test (I would never consider using a CW tint in an actual light of mine lol).

They beat the XP-G3 LEd’s and were not far off the XP-L HI numbers though.

will the production light be using the highest bin SST20s or what bin will they use?
