*BLF LT1 Lantern Project) (updated Nov,17,2020)

No need.

The lantern will includes 18650s in the package.

Perfect package for most people.

Seriously?! 4 x 18650 included for $50?!

That’s AMAZING!

Nah, not for 50$

Source needed for that statement

Lantern costs 50$US without cells.

$50 is an estimate.

Ok, so back to my original comment…

“Time to buy some high capacity 18650s!!!”

I need 12.

Yep, and dont count on $50 either, until we get word from Den. Nobody else

Well, that 50$ was estimated by Barry.

Put me down for one. Thanks

Estimated, not Fact

I’ll take one

Not to nitpick, but that statement is not correct & will cause confusion.

The lantern WILL NOT include 18650’s in the package.

Probably has to do with the French to English translation but still Just wrong.

EDIT: Oh OK, ’my bad’; I fixed that “translation” part.

…….

Exactly……. :+1:

How many times do I have to say it….

The has price estimate from Barry is 50$US.

That estimated price is for the base package.

The package with 18650s included will obviously cost more.

There were no translation mistakes anyway.

It's not that, I'm just looking at all my lights and feel I just don't need anymore. I got a real good collection now that I have fun playing with without the need to add more...... at the moment!

:+1: … I understand completely.

But the lantern is very different from most flashlights.

As mentioned above, the $50 price point is for the lantern itself. There will likely be a package option to include high-capacity batteries, and later an accessory kit than can be bought with the lantern possibly or as a separate kit.

I really haven’t wanted to go down the lantern rabbit hole, but please put me on the list for one.
Now time for a lot of catch up reading.

Welcome to the “rabbit hole” buddy. :+1: .
