Acebeam X45 defective, 2 months old

wow serious ? :person_facepalming:

They have nerve. You’d think they would come to this thread and take care of you in public, and show everyone what great company they are. Instead, they decide to crap on you and this forum. Wow.

Acebeam has sunk pretty far down as a company that u cant count on if u encounter problems to get any help on expensive lights… just as bad as imalent if not even worse…

:+1:

I vote worse based on their price structure. Acebeam charges premium prices and claims premium products.

Imalent has their issues but they put out products at low prices and then offer huge discounts. When I bought my DX80 for almost half of what the X80 was available for I did so willing to deal with some frustrations.

When I buy Acebeam products I expect everything from the price, product and the service to be as premium as it gets

Yes u are right about that, dealers rarely can put discounts on their more expensive lights or whatever… so where is the support when u need it lol ??? they wont last long in business treating customers like that…

Acebeam - since you are aware of this thread know that i wont buy any lights from u ever reading how u treat customers… congrats!

1. Your contract is with the seller, not manufacturer. If you buy on EU store they must abide by EU consumer regulations.
2. You should not have agreed to buy second flashlight on discount from a third-party China store. This is a new transaction. You are responsible for customs.
3. You should not have sent the flashlight to China. If you bought on Amazon.de the seller is obliged to provide German return address (same for Amazon.com etc).

Acebeam have given you bad customer service but you need to accept some of the responsibility. You need to be smarter when dealing with companies. In future seek advice before doing anything.

hm yes he shouldnt have done this and that… ja ja now it seems u blaim the buyer for some reason… why ? not everyone knows the laws etc… i sure dont and i have bought on amazon, ebay for many years… that doesnt mean its ok to ripoff buyers like acebeam has done.

So unfortunate that this is being handled the way it is. I’ve only had one issue and that was with Jaxman on AliExpress. Package arrived without the contents. Jaxman refunded my money after a lengthy debate. They wanted Ali to take care of it initially. After about 3 weeks Ali refunded the money also. I contacted Jaxman to return their money and they said keep it. They would deal with Ali to get their money back. Then I got a message from Jaxman saying how poor AliExpress was to their sellers, guess they just wanted to vent to me. Got double my money back and ordered and received the light I originaly ordered. Other than some time lost, everything went well. Hope in the end Acebeam takes care of the issue and you feel good about the results. if that’s possible at this point. I will probably stay away from the higher end lights from Acebeam until I know they appreciate and take care of their customers. If they sent you a new head it would not hurt their margins. They should just bite the bullet on this one and send it for free.

Look on it fromthe bright side: the mail of Acebeam could be the start of a fruitful dialogue. A bit cynical?
Maybe, but I would NOT remove/delete this thread without substantial promises to compensate you.

And to think that I was going to buy X80 and X65. Their loss and my profit. Thank you for this topic.

I would not delete the thread even with compensation. Update it to include new or positive customer service responses from the manufacturer perhaps, but not delete and hide the evidence of poor past performance.

This. If someone was doing wrong, then came around as a result of pressure/bad reviews, I'd document that. I'd express how I felt about the ultimate resolution, etc. I'll never take down a bad review, only update.

I'm glad I've somehow avoided all the bad manufacturers/sellers out there so far. MtnElectronics, Led4Power, Jaxman, Convoy, and even Kaidomain have been good to me.

X80 is iffy.

Tbh Imalent get a bad rep but they’ve never failed me quality wise (even with some horrendous drops) I’ve had 2 Acebeam failures now with virtually no use.

No news, nothing has happened since my last post. I’ll update as soon as there is some news.

Their customer treatment is just shameful, really awful. Was thinking about getting me the T27, for sure I wont buy anything from them.

I hope you told them you will not take this thread down until they have corrected the issue, and also that more and more people are seeing and reading it everyday. Moreover, some say they are now not going to purchase Acebeam lights because of the issue you are having with their customer service and you will be reporting every action they take to correct it good or bad.

I actually highly recommend this approach, as they are worried about it already.

Lets be honest here, Acebeam or any Chinese light is cheap to produce. I know I saw Mashall Hoots trip to China in the Olight factory and they have their stuff together. They really test their lights and have USA customer service in Georgia. I made a simple call to them one time and I got a new X7 tailcap no questions asked with stickers and morale patch in 2 days from the call. (Come to find out the tailcap was just fine so I have a good spare for it.)

Acebeam will never get my money.
Period.

Acebeam will never get my money too!

@RonNL, I would go to a small claims court and act against what Acebeam did.

Thanks for support. I will ask Acebeam one more time to resolve this situation for me. If they refuse, I will look into other options.
