FW3A, a TLF/BLF EDC flashlight - SST-20 available, coupon codes public

Yes, it should work fine. At least, mine does.

As you mentioned, it’d be a good idea to put an O-ring in its place, because it’ll have a gap otherwise and that feels weird to hold. It shouldn’t affect function though. It’ll just roll easily.

Oops. I’m bad about PMs sometimes. I have 119 tabs open, all waiting for me to do something, and sometimes it takes me a while.

And… just FYI Ilumenati; here is a “Pro Tip”. You can look at the date of post #4 and that will be the last time it was updated.

I can’t figure out why Lumintop would be making so many of these boneheaded changes so late in the development. The changes to the clip are honestly just terrible looking and nonsensical. I also can’t figure out why there’s so many apologists bootlicking Lumintop in the thread.

Off topic, but need to know info: which browser are you using? Firefox, Chrome, and Opera all seem to use several hundred MB of RAM per tab.

How many extensions do you have? They’ll each do work per tab. If on Chrome, look into The Great Suspender.

The hole makes it more difficult to knock the light off your Levi pocket. It adds resistance. Personally, this light will be fantastic without regards to bunnies and black clips with holes. After all, we will be using it in the DARK! Should be fun.

I must be missing something. Because, the hole is even in the clip on the original renders.

Yep… but somewhere along the way the the hole disappeared. The link to this pic says “Proto 4” in it. IIRC it was the last one sent out b4 the pre-production ones just sent out.

And then on the picture posted today by M4D M4X the hole has “magically” reappeared. ('If' this is indeed a picture of the ones just sent out.)

Not only that, but the clip in the original renders, and especially the next revision, look great. The latest version looks, well, garbage.

Vivaldi browser has a built in Hibernate Background Tabs-function.
OneTab Chrome extension is good for saving tabs and memory.

Firefox uses hundreds of megabytes per tab? That’s a news to me. I have 213 open tabs at the moment, all in plain sight (3 rows). There are quite a few heavy web apps among them. I just explicitly reloaded them all and FF takes 5.5 GB now - or 25 MB per tab.

100% agree, in fact the black clip is probably enough for me to not buy this light now, far out Lumintop, just stick to what we signed up for ffs

Yes its weird they make such changes since the community havent asked for it really, but again they make the light so they feel the can do whatever they want really. Not much to do really, just accept it for what it is really.

We don’t know what order the images are in though - I’m going to wait for the next confirmed images (from the three reviewers who have been sent lights) before casting aspersions.

true but i dont expect any more changes now, since the hole on the clip is also visible on the boxes its safe to say it more or less is the final design but time will tell…

I agree, but I guess what I’m getting at is that we don’t know when the photos Max got were taken; for all we know they could either be taken 5 minutes before he posted them, or a month before - I know he was sent them by Neal.

I’m going to assume that the lights being sent to the three are the “final” edition, so I’ll jjst put this to the back of my mind until then, and work on finding a good use for my sw45k’s when they arrive.

:stuck_out_tongue:

Well, see, that’s in one window… and I have 447 windows open.

It’s a bad habit.
