Yes. CPF has some issues, but it’s overblown here. This forum has its own issues. There each their own beasts with pros and cons.

Both are good communities. Neither are perfect. I’m happy to participate in both for different reasons.
That said, the less moderated policies here seem more conducive to group buys of in-development products.
The other forum has fairly strict policies for commercial activities, and the normal policies for group buys is that purchases are made through the group buy organizer. That might not work with BLF-style projects, but if there were questions about whether a group buy list could be started over there for this project, I think it would be wise to discuss it with one of their admins before posting.

Not sure, but I think someone posted about starting a list on CPF. Then the post got deleted. Folks are still talking about it. That’s just a sort of educated guess, not sure if it matches reality.
I will say maintaining a list is not trivial. Maintaining two lists would be a real PITA.

Haven’t been on here in a while, and it’s nice to see the progress made. Awesome looking lantern. Really appreciate all the work that’s gone into the development from all involved.
it was just a mention off CPF interests in the lantern, but I will only focus on this one here. If any of their members want on the group buy they need to come here.

This is the best approach. If people from CPF don’t often, or never have visited BLF they can put in a little effort to join to get on the list. Although a thread at CPF can’t explicitly state to go to BLF (or link to here), a quick search will get anyone here.
I'm just lurking here from time to times to check the latest news and... great to see now that its almost coming to fruition!
Congrats to all the team, really promises to be an outstanding lantern.
And just this week-end I thought of another usage for this lantern :)
PS : don't know if it has been already discussed, but I would be opened to a small price supplement in order to have the nicest bin ever (if even possible to do better).
