✌ FREEME - ASTROLUX MF01S 15000lm Flashlight Group Buy - ENDED

I don’t care about HCRI even like others do, the SST20 6500K are the best SST20 tint IMO, I’m a huge fan of cool white, hope to see them make it into the production light! TA how many lumens and candelas did you measure with the 6500K?

I didn’t install them in a light to get readings, I just bench tested them as it was too much of a pain to try them in a light for the test (I would never consider using a CW tint in an actual light of mine lol).

They beat the XP-G3 LEd’s and were not far off the XP-L HI numbers though.

will the production light be using the highest bin SST20s or what bin will they use?

It depends on the tint, they were able to get the highest bin in some of them and 1 below the highest in the rest. They are not positive which tints they will be offering in the final production lights yet.

So basically the light is ready to be produced

but the Anduril thermal freak out bug is not fixed
hard turbo dropdown is just a think to do a hard stepdown to fix this bug, and we do not want it,
so that turbo is as long as possible available then fading down to a thermal equal level holding steady the set temperature

Interested !

hella interested. It actually has cooling fins!

So the SST20s are 4000k? What kind output will we be seeing. 11000 lumen?

Add me for a few blue .

Interested for one, depending on pricing.

There will be multiple options for the LED’s. SST-20’s in 4000k 95cri (hopefully with a better bin then has been available before), 5000k 70cri and 6500k 70cri.

Far as lumen output, that is still TBD.

If the sst20s are so good why don’t they just scrap the xpgs and have the sst20s in different variants?

No 3000k option? If so i’m not interested.

Who said this is not a possibility? lol

The XP-G3’s cost a bit less but if the sample units with the SST-20 test well then I think I can talk them into ditching the XP-G3 unless Banggood demands it for some reason.

Was that ever considered?

The demand for 3000k has historically been so low that honestly they did not consider it and I never brought it up except in passing.

They have been quite open to custom versions of the light if enough demand is shown though, so if there is demand for a 3000k version I bet it could happen.

The benchmark has not really been set for “enough demand” but my guess from talking to them is 100 is a good number to start with but they might need more interest for things that require custom orders.

Just saw a video of someone who modded their MF01 with 90 cri LH351Ds and it’s outputting 20000 lumens, 60kcd. Would that be a good LED for this light?
