FW3A, a TLF/BLF EDC flashlight - SST-20 available, coupon codes public

I hope the button is still bunny-less by the time high CRI options are available

I placed my order! I haven’t been following the thread but I’m happy that everything finally came together. Thanks to the whole team for making this happen.

That’s ‘interesting’ since this was your first post in this thread & your not even on the list. Unless of course you ordered at full price??

If you didn’t pay full price…. how’d you pull it off?? Get someone to tell you the code??

EDIT: Paid full price, congrats on getting one.

Yes, I thought the sign-up list was completed.

I’m excited that the time is here for them. Thanks TK and team for all the work you’ve done!

I hope the SST-20s come out soon for the light as well. The high CRI has really grown on me when out running with my D4S even though the color temperature is slightly warmer than I wanted (I really like the ~4750K of my Foursevens Mini MKII). It helps quite a bit distinguishing items on the ground when running. Thanks again everyone!

Put me down for 2.
(An XPL and a Hi-CRI)
These look fantastic.

Also, I thought I was already a member here. Thanks for motivating me to finally register. Been coming here for years.

@ToyKeeper, thanks so much for all your work on this. And of course also to Neal & FW3A Team.

So is this first batch with the BLF discount only going to be XP-L HI, and that SST-20 will be at a higher price?
Also, if the only branding to be added is the bunny on the tail switch, is that etched into the metal or painted on?

First batch is XPL HI only. Hopefully later there will be an SST-20 version at a lower price. SST-20s are cheaper so should cost less.

Got my code, ordered right after.
XP-L HI 3D will do, until I swap the LEDs

Yes, the SST-20 will be cheaper - says in the pm what that price is. Dunno if I'm allowed to post...

I need to talk to Neal about yours, actually. You were part of the project originally, so you should get at least one light free.

It looks like about 95 seconds each.

Also, the PM list isn’t identical to the interest list. It’s still in the same order, but with duplicates removed. One person can have many entries on the interest list, but can only appear once in the PM list. So the PM list is in order of first appearance on the interest list.

In practice, this means your PM number is lower than the request number.

I think the SST-20 version will probably be $30. Hopefully soon, since it’s easy to get those emitters in FB4 tint. Removing the FA/FD tint requirement allows things to happen much faster.

About the Lumintop-branded version, the bunny is etched into the tail.

The TLF/BLF group buy version has no logo or other markings on the light. It is completely blank.

So there is no guarantee that there will be HI-cri leds ever in this light and no guarantee that the codes will or won’t expire while we are waiting?

If it’s not too late – Sign me up for 1

Still waiting. Getting on plane soon

Thanks for this info.

My guess is I should get my my PM code in 3-5 hours. I’m around number 200 on the list. :innocent:

Hi Gunga,

Looking at your position in the list and TK’s estimated time between each email notification, I figure that you should get your PM any time now

~55: in list
~95 seconds between messages
= ~87 minutes from start

I’m #192 on the list and patiently waiting for my code. 2 years in the making.

:stuck_out_tongue:

I tried lurking and not clogging up the works with posts but I cant’ stand it anymore. I’M SO EXCITED! Thanks in advance for everyone’s work on this!!
