Will $50 be the standard price after the group buy?

This will probably be the list price. I imagine there will be coupon codes eventually which will make it cheaper, but not as cheap as the Group Buy price.

Interested, but completely clueless how to get on the list. Is there info I’m just missing in the 1st post?

You just say that you want 1, etc… like everybody else. That’s all.
You are now added.

So there is no guarantee that there will be HI-cri leds ever in this light and no guarantee that the codes will or won’t expire while we are waiting?

I don’t know what the final sst-20 version CRI will be.

Codes alway expire eventually. No worries, though. Either this code will still be active or they will send out new codes to people on the list when the sst-20 version is ready.

It’s not the interest list number though, since the PM list has duplicates removed. So to clear up any questions about what number people are on the PM list, I put a copy here:

http://toykeeper.net/torches/fw3a/privmsg.lst

Exactly…… Thumbs Up

The interest list number was all we had access to when I posted that.

That is why I said it would get you “close” & that the time would have to be adjusted for the fact that only one PM was sent to those with multiple light orders.

With your PM list available now “The Math” can be almost exact. Thanks for posting that…. Beer

You can do the math & get (real) close. You can take off a bit of time for multiple orders receiving only one PM notice.
The lower your number the less time you deduct. (edit: no longer necessary)

The Math

Your list number x 95 seconds = ___________ seconds

__________ seconds ÷ 3600 seconds = ______ hours

The GROUP BUY went live at 14:00 Central time.

EDIT: Use your number on THIS NEW LIST provided by TK & you can calculate a fairly exact time your PM will come to you.

I’m confused on the ordering procedure. Do I wait for a priate message from the seller, with instructions?

BTW, I can’t find my name on TK’s list, linked above. But there aren’t any date reference points on that list, so no way to search other than line-by-line. I joined the “waiting list” on February 18.

Unless that has changee since I ordered at about 16:00 Central time there is a “Free Shipping Option” (for the USA anyway). I chose free shipping.

Wait for a PM from the ‘FW3A Team’. It will have the info you need to place your order.

You’ll get a PM from “FW3A Team” when it’s your “turn” as it were – TK posted a list of all the accounts it’ll be sent to and in what order, so you just need to follow teacher’s post about working it out. 14:00 CST (I think it was) is when PMs started, and 90 seconds between posts – so 40 per hour.

I’ll update the interest list again tomorrow when the privmsg script finishes, then run the script again with the new data.

It looks like there may be quite a few people added.

Sorry for the slow speed in sending messages… the purchase page opened up by surprise, and I want people early on the list to have a chance to order first. So it’s intentionally slow.

Also, it seems things won’t ship until at least May 8, so this doesn’t actually cause any delay in how long it’ll take to receive the lights. But I definitely understand how excruciating it can be to “hurry up and wait”.

It’s currently on message 191 of 1544.

OK, thanks. Sorry about the duplicate inquiry. I thought this first one didn’t take, and then I found TKs original post so I quoted it.

And I still haven’t managed to find my name on the list. Do you have any idea where February 18 of this year would fall, number-wise?

Not sure what it’s up to now; I’m a few after you and I worked it out to be roughly 25 hours from now. I think.

(I had TK’s link open in Chrome Mobile and it wouldn’t let me Find on Page, blah)

Now there was only 3 options
-shipping difference
-standard shipping
-Expedited shipping

Shipping difference(Whatever that means?) and standard shipping were the same amount. But no free shipping option offered.

Looks like the XP-L is all that’s available. If we want the SST, should be wait to purchase? Or is this planned for much later on.

@ funkychateau….

Yep, as they said; 1383 on TK’s PM sending list. Do the math as described earlier & you will get a pretty exact time you will/should receive your PM.

I like this new list. It bumped me up about 400 spots in the line.

I’m 1299 on the PM list and it worked out to 34 hours, yes 34 hours, from start time this afternoon … or 10:00 p.m. tomorrow night.

You should get an email around 3:30 AM Eastern standard time on Sunday.

I’m 674 on the original list, 541 on the email list. I should receive my email around 5:16 AM EST in the morning.
