FW3A, a TLF/BLF EDC flashlight - SST-20 available, coupon codes public

You know the old saying about assumingā€¦.

  • Start time 14:00 CST 26 April 2019
  • Use your number on This PM List

Please put me down for one more when the high CRI is available. Just ordered the XPL HI 3D .Thanks to all involved and especially TK.

Will I get a tracking code after shipping?

I see a few people have ordered 7A. Iā€™m on the fence about this one. It is a very warm tint.

I havenā€™t been around much (I get lost and confused by these mammoth threads on BLF) and Iā€™d almost forgotten about this light. I almost just ignored the emails, but Iā€™m happy I didnā€™t because this is an exciting light. Anyway I just ordered mine, thanks so much to those BLFers who have spent about two years working on this, and to Neal for everything heā€™s done.

I noticed that too. To each their own, but 7A is MUCH to warm for me. I was never even tempted to order one.
3D all the way for me. :+1:

Who is this Neal person that everyone is talking about?

I agree, itā€™s warmer than I like, but given the choices offered, Iā€™ll take too warm for my liking over too cold any time, so 7A was an easy choice for me.

So does this mean that 1544 units were produced and anyone after that number wonā€™t be able to participate in the group buy? Or will there be a round #2 soon to follow?

Problem is, TK said that the actual delay is 90 seconds plus approximately 5 seconds of message processing time. With hundreds of messages (well over 1000), clock skew is likely to be significant. TK's made later posts with something like "now at #nnn at time TTT", and using those will be slightly more accurate.

Noā€¦ it does not mean that. The Group Buy List is still open at this point according to TK.
I imagine, by what she posted yesterday; it will close sometime today.

1544 was the number of people at time of that PM List posting. Many of those 1544 bought multiple lights.

No, the original list had every light requested with some users listed multiple times if they requested multiple lights. The list for the email script is the same list with all multiples removed. As of now we only know that 1000+ were produced in the first batch.

Thanks, teacher.

My faultā€”I was looking at just the numbers assigned. I hadnā€™t yet looked at associated names. I now see that on the original interest list, the sequential order number is not the same as the notification list (I had mistakenly assumed it would be the same number set). Glad to see Iā€™m on it (my interest list number is 1925, but I see that Iā€™m on the notify list).

3D is far too cool for me, 7A all the way!

Itā€™s all personal preference. I love 4000K best, 4500K is okay (great during the day) and below 4000K is good as well for night time. Some people prefer cooler tints. Just because they are wrong doesnā€™t mean they canā€™t enjoy them

You need to re-read what she wrote. A PM is sent every 95 seconds. End of story.
Weā€™re not trying to calculate with moon landing accuracy on thisā€¦ā€¦

I think Iā€™ll get the 7A, Iā€™m a warm tint person but id lean 4000K. Anything over 5000k is too dang blue.

No, she said every 90 seconds is what the script is set to, but she didnā€™t think to account for the page load times which is about 5 seconds.

quote of the year!

Exactlyā€¦ which means a PM is sent every 95 seconds.

Please add another for a total of two. Thank you for your time and efforts.
