Thank you to everyone involved with pulling this all together!! Just placed my order for 2!

Finally ordered mine. Thanks guys.

You will get a little puzzle to reassemble.
You will miss this fun if you enter from the head.

I might be a bit late, But i’m interested 1x

Ordered one 3D and one 7A.
I am also interested in one SST 20.

Thanks!

Ordered 1 of my 2. Waiting for the high CRI version.
Thanks guys!

I’m on the list for 1 but might want a warm xpl hi and an sst20. Do I need to ask to be put on the list for a 2nd one?

Slim margins at the time of email receipt reduced my quantity to one, but by golly the order went in before my first sip of morning brain juice (coffee).

i ordered the 3D version, not really the sweetest choice for me but still ok. I have 7A and it is just too yellow for my taste, i wish there was a slightly warmer choice than the 3D but i guess that is where the SST20 version comes in.

Now the part where everyone loves  , the waiting game begins.

I’m interested, 1x

I am going to wait for the SST-20. I only got on the list for 1 anyway and it doesn’t feel right to order an XP-L I won’t use. It will be damn hard to wait but I’ll do it. Never been so excited for a flashlight before.

Received notification. Purchased my 2. Thanks,

beam pattern - how floody - how spotty - rings, hot spots

anyone care?

wle

First list almost finished with notification 1541 of 1544
I am wondering when new list will be updated

Ordered one in 3D, I’m also interested in one in SST-20.

Congratulations to the team for a successful completion to this build

Ordered! Thanks!

yes in Dale’s experiment the flashlight was held eight feet to the side of the camera so that the camera was not looking down the beam shot. I found that holding my arm straight out to my side causes a lot less scatter and “reflection”of the light (cool neutral and warm). Sometimes holding it straight arm above my head works better also because you are spilling less light directly in front of you on the ground. Also other objects in the spill or beam between you and the target are going to reflect light back to your eyesight. The warmer it is the less all of that scatter and objects in the spill interfere with your ability to see down range. It’s very easy for people to experiment themselves with the flashlight held at arm’s length off to the side or overhead especially in different atmospheric conditions. Headlights make this even more apparent because the light is right next to your eyes. A cool white headlight on a misty or foggy night is just plain miserable. I’ve seen this in cars/trucks also where are the higher up the seating position is above the headlights the less glare you get. Edit. I’m using scatter reflection and glare somewhat interchangeably here. Not entirely sure I should be doing that. Second edit. The other thing about those Water tower pictures is what is missing. What’s missing is anything in the spill.I don’t know if that’s because the pictures were cropped or the camera was zoomed in or he was up on one high water tower looking at the other one so there was nothing in the spill zone. But objects in the spill is/are going to interfere with your ability to see down range with human eyes. So there are problems with the camera experiment.

Ordered 1 on 3D tint. Thanks again.

I am interested in one also
