Is there an optic available which makes the light more throwie?

Searching around on Google I found the below angles (not official):

The 10511 is called a narrow spot. 22°
The 10508 is called a medium spot. 27°
The 10509 is called a wide spot. 40°
All of the above are frosted.

The 10507 is the non-frosted, clear version with a narrow spot. 18°

I think it’s fair to say that the angles might vary a little based on which emitter is under them. So I would view the above angles as a loose reference guide.

Quick question, I'm hesitating on two scenarii mainly:

• Buy one 7A now, buy an SST20 when released. Will the BLF code still be alive by that time?
• Just wait for CRI95. Will the BLF code still be alive by that time?

PS: is there a post dedicated to comparing SST20 and XP-L in a bit more details than 1st post?

I think i was one of the last few peoples who got in. Got my PM a couple hours ago. Ordered 2 (3D). One for myself and another for family. I may consider to order a SST20 when available. Thanks!

Originally I planned on buying the 3D tint but at the last moment decided I’d try out the 7A tint instead.
Personally I’ve preferred lights with a CCT ~4000-4500K but the closer to 5000K CCT of the 3D might be a bit too cold to my liking in a flashlight like this.
If I don’t like it then oh well, I’ll just swap the emitters.
