*BLF LT1 Lantern Project) (updated Nov,17,2020)

  1. Lantern + 4x18650 + carrying case + (if possible) aluminium diffusion sheet.

Iā€™ve got batteries.

I donā€™t know yet, but yes, thatā€™s how it should look.

It looks like about 5.5 mA (3.5 months) on moon, but thatā€™s with all 7x7135 enabled. It should be a bit lower with fewer 7135 chips. And if I understand correctly, it should ship with 4 or 5 chips enabled per channel.

Or thereā€™s standby mode with the button on, which is about 0.1 mA (~16 years) at the brightest level.

Thatā€™s why Iā€™m planning to add a blink when it hits the end. Iā€™d want to add it anyway, because itā€™s hard to tell where the edge isā€¦ but it can also help make the auto-tint thing more intuitive. Hit the edge, keep pushing for a full second, and then itā€™ll go to auto. Something like that, anyway.

Can I please be added to the interested list. Thanks.

Please add me to the interest list. Thank you

@Mr.Scott and others, donā€™t forget about the general public.
They quite literally need this, so Iā€™m not going to remove batteries for this.

The accessories will probably be sold separately and for cheaper if you donā€™t want to get 18650s.

please add me to the interested list

Definitely interested here.

Iā€™d buy the battery package if they were good batteries. Donā€™t need any 1500mah trustfire clones.

Interested in one or two pending price

All right fine; add me to the interest list for one lantern. Thanks for the hard work, everyone! Looking great.

First time posting, actually created this account to say I want one. Is there anywhere else I would need to say that? Or is this sufficient?

Please add me to the interest list. Iā€™m late to the party but it looks like a great design.

That prototype sure looks good. Thank you for the pictures TK.

Hopefully you receive your sample soon DBSAR, the wait must be tormenting
I do have to say the rather heavy frosting was a bit of a surprise after all the prototyping and R&D and talks and so on.
But this is a perfect example why samples are made.

By the way DBSAR, do you have any gear to test the light transmittance of the globe? May even help the communication as Iā€™d expect a flashlight manufacturer to have such a tool to test lenses and whatnot.
These testers are a bit of a niche though as even from China theyā€™re not that cheap, cheapest ones from Linshang Tech are around 70USD just as an example.

Hello,

Iā€™m not here all that much but appreciate what happens here - I saw the lantern on a reddit post and am very interested.

Iā€™m not sure of the process - but Iā€™d like to be put on the list for one.

If someone would be so kind to let me know if there is a follow up task I should be performing, Iā€™d appreciate it a lot.

Thank you very much, Carl G.

Welcome to the forum Jeep157

Just saying you want one is all you need to do ...cept wait ......and buy it when it becomes available :)

Thanks. I have a Fenix CL25R (which I just saw they discontinued) that works great, but this looks awesome. I love my Q8 so this looks like the next logical thing for me.

Interested in 1 please.

Please add me to the interest list, thanks.

Please add me to the list.

Put me down for two (2) please.
