Then I’ll say at 1800 lumens, TRI lens, 21700 battery under $30.00 I’m interested.

I just got info from Jacky that the MCPCB is 20mm x 1.6mm but there is room to fit MCPCB with diameter less than 21.5mm. Therefore the Virence VR21SP4 should fit nicely for anyone interested in modding this with the quad E21A.
Reading my mind… I’m worried though that they won’t be able to handle the current though and who knows how the TIR will handle the quad die.

This narrow/clear of optic never seems to look good with these types of LEDs
Scallywag: texas shooter:3500 lumens as a triple. I’ve got the Luminus SST40W N5 spec sheet up now. 1806 lumens at 6 amps, 1603 at 5 amps, 1115 at 3 amps. It’s a nice light with a good price but output needs to be a bit more honest. The TRI lens is a great feature.
I'm confused what you mean. 3500 lumens as a triple SST40 is easy, especially with strong 21700 cells
It’s a single LED light. See from the picture I posted just above your comment. My comment was it would take a triple to get that many real lumens.
Ah. I think I'd had the thread open since before you posted that picture. Yeah, 3500 is ridiculous for a single emitter... and so is the rating of 2300.
Yeah. I doubt it will even be remotely tolerable. To go with the form factor, I think an sst20 with a 50E charged to 4.1v is most appropriate. (Throwy EDC)
I’m holding out hope for a triple e21a board coming about for the FW3A. I think that’s a great match there. I’m really not in the max lumens camp. 1200 OTF is plenty. Just wish we had some good buck drivers…
