They will get very hot if used as freestanding lights rather than handheld.
Heat is not good for lithium-ion batteries.

I think they should be fine for heat. Sipik 98s aren’t overdriven and they have excellent heatsinking.

That said, they also have cheap low-CRI leds in them. That’s not necessarily a great thing for photography.

Pure white? White balance? Multi-color emitters? What the flick LoL?

I think you may have found quite enticing the uniform lighting ability of those flashlights, as most zoomies. But if you aim to shoot video with them you will at least need to modify them with high CRI emitters of some known typical CCT. I would choose 3000K, plenty of good high CRI emitters available in such temperature and it allows you to get a spot on corrected white balance by selecting incandescent/tungsten setting. Or maybe 4000K, and then use fluorescent/warm light.

There may be other zoomies worth being used, just don't get full hollow pill SK98s for the love of God.
