Chocolate

I’m a milk chocolate person, any good chocolate brand is fine (Lindt, Toblerone, some dutch brands make very tasty chocolate too) and I especially like the distinct taste of Cote d’Or milk chocolate.

I’d scoff any chocolate that isn’t too dark.

Milky Bars and Caramacs are good, also Cadbury Bournville.

Might sound a bit snob but as i have to be very carefull with sugar now i decided to trade unreasonable quantity of industrial "chocolate" (mostly sugar and palm oil) for low quantity but high quality :

  • dark "grand crus" from Bonnat (Voiron, France)
  • "pralinés" from Pascal Caffet (Troyes, France)

Motta has a Bio collection that is good also

I agree completely with this sentiment

If you’re ever in South America, nab yourself a box (or even better, a solid 1kg bar) of these. White, milk or dark, you will NOT regret it.

I haven't bought chocolate in a while, but when I do, I get Hershey's Symphony Bar with Almonds and Toffee Chips.

It's pretty cheap at Walmart.

Heh heh. Symphony was a fave back in the day. I gotta try the Garoto.

Utah’s own Amano.

I don’t eat much chocolate.

 Cadbury’s Hazelnut, Snickers, Mr. Goodbar, Kit Kat, & M&M Peanut.

I forgot to mention KitKat earlier - this brand is one of the more fascinating creations in the chocolate industry. Kitkat is one of the chocolates available across the globe with multiple variants/flavors.
as an example:

I do like the Hershey’s blocks with Toffee, regular Hershey bar and the LARGE KIT KAT bars only.

Awfully chocolate

Does Kit Kat count as chocolate? I only see it as covered wafers. Still a very tasty treat, but not exactly chocolate IMO.

Anyway, for me it’s not an option. They’re overpriced as balls where I live, and you get far better value for the price with these:

One box costs as little as two Kit-Kat envelopes, and there’s way more than two Kit Kats in there.

Oh, how I wish they made dark-chocolate Kit-Kats…

I do like those chocolate-filled “straws” (wafer-like, but rolled into a tube). Obscenely pricey for the mass, though.

I have had the green matcha tea Kit Kat. It was in an order I got from a Japanese company years ago. It was green colored and way better than a normal Kit Kat.

I normally don’t eat chocolate. I try to stay away from sugar, but Godiva, Lindt, Ghirardelli and a healthy chocolate with probiotics called beyond P xobiotic squares are the ones I eat most. They are bitter and are an acquired taste for sure. lol

but… they DO

edit: Japan is a great market for Kitkat variety, more than 200 flavors in total were introduced to Japanese customers.

Hmm, interesting…

These never last long

Dark KitKats are also very nice. In fact any dark chocolate is good, because it gives SWMBO a headache, so more for me

My favorite has got to be Lindt. But I also like pretty much anything, especially if it’s dark. I can even eat those 90% bars from Aldi, but not much at a time, as they are very rich.

For just a “candy bar” treat, I like Baby Ruth the most, but again, can pretty much enjoy any and all chocolate and/or chocolate-covered bars and/or candies. I love M&M’s as well.

I agree.

I do not do it because I have a problem… I can not stop until I finish it.
