SRM Land 910 Plus mods

I’ve seen pics floating around of a custom carbon fiber pocket clip for a SRM Land 910 Plus and talk of carbon fiber scales as well. Does anyone on the forum know where to find them or which forum member was making them? Also does anyone know of compatible scale screws for the SRM 910 Plus like the anodized titanium screws available for some models? Thanks for the help.

Like this?

The 910+ with cf scales and clip went to Lithuania as a gift.

The ones below was the first try with a 910+. I sanded down the front scale a bit and used it on the 9104.
The clip worked well but I made a mistake and glued one layer with superglue instead of epoxy, it broke.

I only have the 9104 with the cf front scale anymore and I won’t make another one. Milling the inside for the washer and ball bearings and milling on top for the pivot screw is too much to suffer for my tastes.

The steel scale on the left is redundant as you might have guessed.

I should take a shot with the smaller brother, the 811, especially as I polished the scales after taking the shots below.

Did you make these, Adahn? they look really nice.

Indeed, that’s my work

Happy you like them.

You do nice work…I cant imagine that SRM never thought of this while Ganzo turns out a lot of carbon fiber. If you ever have a spare carbon fiber clip that youre willing to part with, let me know.

Well, I can make one, no problem.
I can’t guarantee to have it finished at one day as I usually work on my “projects” in the breakfast break on job, but it can be done.

Which one did you like, the bent version

or the “milled” one from one block?

I even tried another shape on a Ganzo G-7533CF but the screws were too short for that because when I received the knife the tips of the screws went through the liner way too far. I should’ve had the idea for a cf clip before shortening the screws

And while Ganzo makes CF/G10 laminated scales they always leave them flat. I think they’d look much better 3D shaped, just as Ganzo does it with G10.

Just visited your website/blog, quite fascinating projects you have there! Everyone should take a look. And if you start offering parts… you might quickly find yourself in the middle of a group buy

Well, whoever likes the stuff I make can contact me. I’m just more the maker than the seller, or better than a marketing guy

SRM has made CF models

But i’ve only seen them at messerundco
