Buy them from someone who pulls them from their light. I'm guessing they probably don't want them very much if they are pulling them. If you're in Germany maybe Lexel? Odds are at some point he'll be modding a few FW3A's for some folks . Maybe start watching some of the mod threads or start a WTB thread .
I just got my shipping notification from Neal for one 7A and one 3D. I was the 1472nd person in line for the coupon code private message, so we must be very close to the end of shipping out all the pre order lights!!

I finally figured out what that fifth pocket is for on your jeans: the FW3A.

Given that the error message only flashes up for about 3 seconds with nowhere obvious to enter a code i get the impression itās a site error rather than anything to do with the delivery process, but have no idea how to check this or actually track the delivery 
(Itās not showing up on RM or Yodel).
Thanks, I had a similar thought. As itās more than just me Iām more happy that itās a site problem. I know itāll arrive in good time, just excited.
When it was working it brought up a code beginning with an F which worked to give the same information on 17track. Wish Iād made a note of it.

My FW3A arrived after precisely 2 weeks.
That means the shipper has been notified (electronically) to expect a package.
In other words, your package will be shipped soon.
I wanted to share my attempt to make a diffuser. The diffuser rests on top of the clip when extended. The diffuser can be pushed down and held in place with the clip with minimal increase to overall diameter or length.
1) Purchased glucose tablets for $1.89 from CVS drugstore (USA).
2) Removed label and sanded to roughen finish to better scatter the light
3) Sanded top to remove raised edge
I should be getting a 3D and a 7A today via DHL. I'll report on the the 7A comparing to the 3D - don't think anyone received a 7A yet.
I always wonder how these types of diffuser would look with some foil in the top (bottom?)
how well does the ādiffuseā stay on? While simulating signalling to person or vehicle?
Mine still in transit, or would test myself.
Iām planning to use it while tail standing so this works okay for me. Tape could be used to reduce the inner diameter of the tube a little bit to make it more secure.
Mine arrived Friday! Busy weekend.
Impressions:
- It's very small. Shorter than my SC62. Almost the exact same length as my D4, while being thinner.
- The design is unique among my lights. Very sleek.
- I initially wished the pocket clip was of a deep-carry style, but after two days I don't care. The design is extremely secure, and I don't notice that the clip ring is "too wide" unless I try.
- The anodizing is very smooth, almost slippery. However, I don't have any issues hanging on to the light.
- The button is very tactile. It can be pressed from the edge, and it will kind of rock slightly, but it still registers the press.
- The beam is very nice with this optic/emitter combo.
- Turbo will cook the light very quickly. It gets hot faster than my D4 with Luxeon V. Nobody was kidding when they said this host was not designed to handle high-power turbo heat. I have reconsidered my desire to swap Luxeon Vs into this light.
- First Anduril light. Neat stuff.
God, with lights this compact using 18650s, all my 16340 lights make me feel like I'm getting screwed on capacity & output.
Oh this would make me wish the FW3A was built like an Emisar D4 and an 8A linear driver.
Would be a very nice upgrade.
