What blade did you EDC today?

Blur

1 Thank

Sorry but the picture is looking quite sharp to me

Its the name of the knife, Kershaw Blur

I know but I refused using a smiley.

Better for sarcasm :stuck_out_tongue:

Very nice. It it still available ?

Look at the wickedly polished edge on that bad boy. Nice!!

I’ve got a number of Spyderco Mule blade blanks. I really like the design and the thinly ground blade. My only gripe is the overly large finger protector nub. I’ve got a mind to grind it back a bit so it doesn’t get in the way. Other than that, they’re amazing and amazing values to boot!

I have a bunch of Mules too. I don’t care for the bump on the rear of the handle so I reshaped a couple that I put slabs on. They turned out pretty decent.

The moral of this short story is… if ya’ don’t like it, grind away till you do. :+1: .

But how do you fold it?

Beauty and the Beast :

Where is the beast? Both are beauties…!!! :+1:

Ooops that was not intended to be posted in the edc thread ! I don't think i can edc that kind of blade here ;)

But anyway you are right totally right : Both are beauties !

Fura Gear FG-15 flipper ( review here ):

My little collection. Different knife every day…

:sunglasses:

Good looking knife! Are those G-10 handles with Carbon Fiber inlays??

What model is it & where did you get it.

TIA ….

NICE…!!! :sunglasses: :+1:

Thank you

That’s a Sanrenmu Land 811, the smaller brother of the SRM Land 9104
It comes with two washers per side, after polishing the copper ones it’s nearly as smooth as the big brother with ball bearings

It’s just so much easier to make scales that way, I definitely won’t make another linerless scale for a framelock flipper again

The scale is made from carbon fiber on both of them, on the SRM 811 I used some selfmade blackwood carbon fiber (epoxy 5 or more sheets of cf, saw it in a square angle). I used a base plate of cf to get only the fibers but no woven pattern at the side

SRM 9055

IIRC I got the SRM 811 from Exduct and it was more expensive than any of my knives from the 910+ series :stuck_out_tongue:
(still less than $20)
All in all the size suits me well. The SRM 710 is too small and I hate the tip down only clip, even though it was the first knife I made a scale for

the SRM 910 feels a bit too big for edc but perfect for real work.
