My X45 problem

Hi guy, can you tell me what’s wrong with my x45
Is it safe with water ???
Please help me
Tell me how to do plz!
Update: now, there is some vapour in my reflector

That probably wasn’t designed as a vent valve but I think it’s safer than not breathing when it gets hot, judging by the amount of bubbles that comes out. Problem is when it cools back down, depending on the design it might create a negative pressure (suck the water into the light).

My acebeam L30 also vents when hot, but it pops the charging cover instead.

My zebralight SC700D on the other hand will retain the pressure for a good while, only releasing when tailcap is unscrewed. I wouldn’t fully submerge any light with an e-switch or led indicators.

I dont think so
Now, there is some vapour in the reflector

what are u doing ???

put the light in a plastic bag and fill it with rice, let it sit tight for a day or so, the rice should suck upp all moisture and hopefully light will not get damaged.

Fog, turn on the flashlight, take a longer time to see if you can get rid of it.

Not a bad idea but NOT as effective as SILICA GEL PACKETS.

I have been using them for 6 years in the body tubes of ALL lights and in my pill bottle containers that hold my larger battery carriers. IF I get condensation after a few months, I simply Regenerate the silica gel packets and replace w/ fresh ones. I just got a new batch of 50 for $7. The original lasted 6 years[could have lasted longer] after numerous regeneration methods easily done and best done in microwave. :+1:
