Amazon Deal Alerts & Discussion Thread

Mine works fine with AAA NiMh, red and uv also

Vipon has a half-price coupon for SK68s with side-COBs for a buk-fitty each, ie, 15bux for 10.

No, no, no, just no. But if anyone’s crazy enough to want some, hey, have at it.

I was debating getting some just to pull the COBs, but even so it ain’t worth it. Probably Angry Blue™ if not Hateful Purple™.

Starting at 1035 AM EDT, the UltraTac A1 Pocket AA Flashlight, 600 Lumen CREE LED EDC Flashlights, 3 Modes with Tail Switch, Powered by One 14500 or AA Battery is scheduled to be in an Amazon US Lightening Deal.

Weren’t they available (UT branded, but sold as “Aiden” or something) for like 8bux a pop?

Seems a lot extra just for a rechargeable 14500…

I don’t mean to pop anyone’s balloons or anything, but…

The version without the 14500 is on sale too.

Regarding the $8 deal I thought that was the A7 “AAA” version.

I modded one of these but beware my version was glued in a few places:

On a side note the Tool AA, Tool AAA and IYP365 are all 50% off on vipon with stacking coupons on Amazon

Thanks! I hadn’t looked on Vipon in a while. Just picked up 3 of the Tool AA for $24.67 after coupons (so $8.22 each).

Ah, yeah, it’s AA vs AAA.

Picked up one of the AAs and one of the Lumintops.

Buncha game-playing with add’l coupons, so only hit ’em up once. The “G3XCLL” or whatever for the LT AAA didn’t work, though.

Well, at least I’ll have 1 to play with…

Can’t get either code for AA or AAA to work.
Tried clearing cache, CC Cleaner etc.

Got the AA and AAA Tool for $10.75. I have plenty of pen lights but the IP365 could have been stacked as well for another $10 or so.

Guess it worked out that it didn’t work—- Already have several—- dang good light with a Samsung / DC Fix combo

How long ago was that and what codes did you use? I can’t get anything to apply now.

Got this curiosity for $2.40 with VIPON and coupon stacking.

I’d take for $2.40 but all coupon used. :frowning:

I just used this, worked great! Saved $30 off a $61 order. I did confirm that the products must be sold and shipped by Amazon. I believe this expires in December.

What other coupons did you use?
I see one for 25% and another from Vipon but that’s still around $5.

About 23 years back American Express was offering unlimited free stock trades if you deposited $50,000 with them. I was going to do it but had a few questions first. I gave them a fake name and (mistake) our real office phone number and asked them for more information. I got my info but decided that as my costs were only $5 a trade, I’d pass. I’d almost forgotten about it when we were soon enough inundated with junk phone calls from multiple companies with all kinds of ’AMAZING OFFERS” asking for the fake name person. Amex had clearly harvested the list of names and sold it. The people who bought the names sold the list of names to others once they’d worked it and they sold it to others etc etc. I’d only used that fake name one time, with AmEx.

For 23 years as of last week we are still receiving calls for fake name person. We put our company name on the do not call list, and started telling everyone who called that (persons fake name here) had died and please remove this phone number from their call list. Often on slow days (persons fake name here) death was described in accurate, excruciating, bloody and horrific details. Each time different. (persons fake name here) ) was in turn shocked working on an electrical panel trying to teach his kids about electricity, run over by a dump truck full of crushed rock while helping an elderly woman across the street, which went even worse when the driver backed up to see what had occurred, (persons fake name here) ) drowned saving the neighbors dog in the river but they didn’t find (persons fake name here) bloated hairless unrecognizable body for 2 months etc etc. To this day, our office gets calls asking if (insert dead persons fake name here) is available. “No”, we patiently tell them: “(persons fake name here) is dead and this is how he died……”

I WILL NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH AMERICAN EXPRESS. EVER EVER EVER. But that’s me.

It’s a good story but lets be honest, everyone is doing this you just aren’t making fake names for the other companies to differentiate them.

Just so I don’t sound like i’m only poopoo’ing on your story ill share something related I do which others might find useful.

If you use gmail you can register with some sites as Couchmaster+AMEX@gmail.com (assuming you are couchmaster@gmail.com it will still send the email to you). That way if you start getting spam to couchmaster+amex you can then add a rule and block it or only allow from certain emails.

If they dont allow “+” sign in the email address you can also do stuff like this: couch.master@gmail.com is the same as couchmaster@gmail.com so you could also use this trick to get multiple coupons from places or sign up as an alternate email that you can do interesting things with and not have to maintain multiple inboxes.

Good story Couchmaster…. I do that with telemarketers sometimes, about myself.
