It’s a good story but lets be honest, everyone is doing this you just aren’t making fake names for the other companies to differentiate them.
Just so I don’t sound like i’m only poopoo’ing on your story ill share something related I do which others might find useful.
If you use gmail you can register with some sites as Couchmaster+AMEX@gmail.com (assuming you are couchmaster@gmail.com it will still send the email to you). That way if you start getting spam to couchmaster+amex you can then add a rule and block it or only allow from certain emails.
If they dont allow “+” sign in the email address you can also do stuff like this: couch.master@gmail.com is the same as couchmaster@gmail.com so you could also use this trick to get multiple coupons from places or sign up as an alternate email that you can do interesting things with and not have to maintain multiple inboxes.
At Amazon there was a “save an extra 20% at checkout when you check this box” kinda thing. But it only applied to the first flashlight. I bought 3 of the Tool AA’s and that’s how it worked out: Vipon discount on all of them, and what equated to be there extra discount just on the first one.
The description said nothing about the strobe being hidden, or mode memory - so it seems that the Strobe mode can not be avoided when using this flashlight.
