Hey Freeme have you seen the inside of this? Does the O-ring sit in deep? Is the lip wide where the O-ring sits.
With my stock bezel the O-rings always slips out when tightening up. Either the o-ring is stretched (It looks fine) or part of the lip that holds the O-ring is to shallow. BLF A6 has this same issue does my head in lol.
Just ordered one and shipped already - used another coupon for $7.50 because no idea what my "FOC" status means.

Seems to be an identical match in size/shape to the alum one, but obviously different weight:
Installed easy, but as usual, have to keep the clear o-ring inside, can't crank it down too quickly. It did pop out on me in one spot one time, then poked it back in place, and tightened up easy:

Mine has just arrived. No issues with the O-ring popping out, but my steel bezel doesn’t seem to tighten on as much as the alu one. When I look at the above image of the finished light, my bezel has a wider gap between the steel and the body, no matter how much I tighten.
Might have to tuck the o-ring in a little further - there's a lip or something, if you get the o-ring inside that lip, might be able to tighted it up more.
Yeah, I noticed that too. The O-ring seems to be tucked inside the lip. It’s not too bad, just doesn’t look as flush as the aluminium one.
Just received mine today. The threads and right at the lip for the o-ring have some burrs that will need to be cleaned up. Haven’t taken the other one off but which o-ring do you use or do you use both? My white one arrived broken.
I didn't need either because the stock ones are fine in my light - they are just spare ones for me: black on the threads of the head, white one inside the top edge of the bezel. Should be clear once you open it up.

Got mine today. Machining looks okay, maybe little touch up will be needed. Will install it later in the day, hoping for perfect flush fit with no space in between.
