*BLF LT1 Lantern Project) (updated Nov,17,2020)

Any chance of a schedule function being implemented into the firmware? Would be nice to have it automatically turn on from dusk to dawn. The AVR timers aren’t great for accurate timekeeping but they might be close enough for a rough schedule function.

No. The AVR timers are more than not-great. They randomly gain/lose something like an hour per day unless driven from an external clock source. It’s not close enough for a schedule function.

Maybe V2 can have a light sensor or something, but it won’t be feasible for V1 to turn on automatically at night.

Count me in! Really need this light.

I’m interested in one lantern.

I’m interested in 1 :sunglasses:

Definitely interested in one of those after the V1 is done.

Count me in for one lantern.

I’m interested in 1
Thanks

I’d like one too please!

I’m interested in 1. Thanks!

It is great to see all you new members joining BLF forums because of this lantern project, and makes me happy to be working to develop an area light/lantern that has the features that no other commercially available lantern ever had, or been able to offer, -its been a couple years in the making, but finally great to be at the point of getting the first BLF lantern project into production soon, to fill that void the market has not done so up until now for LED lantern lighting. :+1:

DBSAR, special thanks to you for all the time, dedication, and project management you’ve put into this. Tons of effort from lots of good people, but you’ve really gone above and beyond to realize the lantern. Thank you, Cheers good sir!

I am interested in one lantern.

Please put me down for another lantern (for a total of 2). Thank you!

Great project! Please put me down for one.

Pardon me if I overlooked it, but the first post is a bit long.

Is there any near confirmed price for the group buy yet?

Count me in, please.
I realised that I cannot resist the temptation anymore.

@nick779

Put me down for 2 please!

Hi Den, can you share any of your ‘accessory’ test results?

I’m curious about the top-mount reflector you mentioned earlier.

What is the ‘beam’ like if the lantern is suspended about 3 feet / 1 meter above an outdoor table, with and without the reflector?
