Following are the runtime graphs for the Turbo and High levels

User interface

Thanks to the three different switches, the management of the interface and its outputs is very simple and intuitive.

Switch A
With a click on switch A the XHP35 HI LED lights up. With additional clicks the various sub-levels are cycled according to the order Moonlight-20lumens-100lumens-600lumens-1000lumens;
To switch to special levels, just double-click the flashlight on. Each additional double click will allow access to the next special level according to the order Strobe-SOS-Signal flash-Warning flash-Pulse-Cycling flash
Direct access to the turbo is also possible (100% of the power with masism output of 2200 lumens):
- Momentary On: from torch off press the switch for at least 0.5sec. The LED will remain lit as long as the button is pressed
- Constant Light: If the switch for 0.5sec is pressed again within 3 seconds of switching off, the torch will go into constant Turbo mode.
To switch to OFF just a simple click

Switch B
With a click on switch B the two XHP70.2 HDs light up. With additional clicks the various sublevels are cycled according to the order (Moonlight-30lumens-300lumens-2000lumens-4000lumens);
To switch to special levels, just double-click the flashlight on. Each additional double click will give access to the next special level (Strobe-SOS-Signal flash-Warning flash-Pulse-Cycling flash)
Direct access to the turbo is also possible (100% output 13000 lumens):
- Momentary On: from torch off press the switch for at least 0.5sec. The LED will remain lit as long as the button is pressed
- Constant Light: If the switch for 0.5sec is pressed again within 3 seconds of switching off, the torch will go into constant Turbo mode.
To switch to OFF just a simple click

Switch C
With a click on switch C all three LEDs will light up (2x XHP70.2 + XHP35 HI). With additional clicks the various sublevels are cycled according to the order (Moonlight-80lumens-400lumens-3000lumens-5450lumens);
To switch to special levels, just double-click the flashlight on. Each additional double click will give access to the next special level (Strobe-SOS-Signal flash-Warning flash-Pulse-Cycling flash)
Direct access to the turbo is also possible (100% output 15000 lumens):
- Momentary On: from torch off press the switch for at least 0.5sec. The LED will remain lit as long as the button is pressed
- Constant Light: If the switch for 0.5sec is pressed again within 3 seconds of switching off, the torch will go into constant Turbo mode. To switch to OFF just a simple click

It is possible to electronically lock the interface but since the anodised threads are not available, physical lockout is not possible.

The body and materials
The Niwalker MF5SV1 is a powerful and powerful multi-function flashlight. Its main peculiarity is that it has three different LEDs that can be used both separately and simultaneously for a flood, throw and combined beam.
The optical part is composed of a LED XHP35 HI (decupulated) with a smooth, mirror-polished and deep enough reflector + 2x XHP70.2 HD LEDs inside two smaller dishes with a deeper orange peel finish than in the previous case .

The XHP35 LED guarantees a very concentrated beam, while the two large XHP70.2 flood beams are well spread.

The mineral glass lens has an anti-reflective treatment. The bezel in brushed steel does not protrude and is flush with the edge of the head.

The color is declared as Cool 6500K even if to tell the truth it seems almost more Neutral, especially that of the XHP35 LED, which in any case has a decidedly warmer color than the two XHP70.2. Using both beams, the blended light that comes out, by eye, appears to be around 5500K.
The build quality is excellent, the anodizing is perfect, smooth and slightly opaque.

The knurling on the central part of the body is really well done, very rough it offers exceptional grip. The rhomboid processing in the tail is very beautiful from the aesthetic point of view and also ensures an excellent grip.

The head is slightly wider than the rest of the body. Here there are large and deep dissipation fins. Indispensable for dispersing the heat produced especially when using High and Turbo levels.

In the front we find three electronic buttons set on a satin-finished aluminum plate. Only one switch (which we previously highlighted with the letter C) has a status LED that shows the remaining battery charge. When the voltage drops below 12V the LED will light up red.

The switches are very precise and responsive. They protrude about a millimeter from the aluminum plate that surrounds them. When pressed, they emit a "click".

In the back, instead, there is the screw to hook the torch to a tripod, for example.

Under the switches there are two small holes where the belt can be connected for transport. This is in nylon, very sturdy and equipped with a buckle and a steel hook.

Despite its generous size and weight, the MF5SV1 is quite compact. In hand the grip is excellent, comfortable to hold and the switches are perfectly reachable and detectable even in total darkness.

The fillets are very wide, sliding and arrive well lubricated. They are not anodised so the physical lock-out of the interface is not possible. A thick white O-ring near the threads ensures total waterproofing of the torch.

The MF5SV1, essentially, can be divided into two parts.

Unscrewing the body from the head gives access to the battery compartment. The battery pack is removable and can be inserted in both directions so there is no danger of polarity inversion as long as the 4x18650 is inserted correctly.
The configuration of the power supply is 4S or 4 cells in series to form a battery pack with voltage given by the sum of the voltages of the individual cells and amperage equal to that of a single 18650. For example: using 4 Sanyo 3.6V from 3500mAh the resulting battery pack will have 14.4V with 35000mAh.

It is advisable, for this model, only and exclusively the use of Hi Drain quality cells.

The contact on the head is wide, made of aluminum and mounted on a spring (not visible) which is quite strong. On the tailcap side, there are no contacts.

The lettering is well done and abundantly present in the tail

Thanks to the antirolling profile it is possible to place the torch on smooth surfaces that are not particularly inclined without it rolling away.

The tailcap is flat so the MF5SV1 can also be used in tailstanding.

Tint, beam and beamshot
The MF5SV1 has the particularity of having both a shooting beam, thanks to the XHP35 HI, and a flood beam thanks to the two XHP70.2. If necessary, it is possible to use the beams at the same time to have total lighting both in the immediate vicinity and at a great distance.
Both beams are geometrically clean without strange artifacts. The colors, different from each other in terms of color temperature, are homogeneous and uniform. In particular, the color of the XHP35 is slightly warmer than that of the two XHP70.2s.

When all three LEDs are on, the resulting eye color appears to be around 5500K. Color rendering is excellent.

At maximum power you have a real wall of light.

The "Moonlight" levels are very comfortable to use the torch for the shortest distance without disturbing the view when for example you are in total darkness.

Final considerations
The Niwalker MF5SV1 is a powerful and compact torch that allows you to simultaneously have a throw beam and a flood beam. The choice of LEDs could not have been more appropriate:
The XHP35 HI combined with a smooth and deep dish brings out a very focused and directive beam.
The two XHP70.2 instead, combined with two shallow orange-peel parabolas, radiate a very wide and totally flood beam.

The user interface is very simple thanks to the three switches that allow independently LED access. The output levels are many: between normal and special we have even 33.

There are 3 Turbo levels that can be activated with Momentary On or Constant Light: 2200lm for the XHP35 HI, 13000 for the 2x XHP70.2 and 15000 for all three LEDs lit simultaneously.
We have 3 Moonlight levels to use for very short distances, for example for reading in total darkness, and many special levels with different blinking modes.

The color is very pleasant tending to neutral, it gives good colors especially in nature.
Temperature control works effectively and protects the torch from overheating.

The materials are of quality, abundant thicknesses and everything is studied in detail. The knurling on the torch body is truly exceptional, offering exceptional grip. The strap fastening system is beautiful and the satin finish of the plate under the switches and of the bezel are also beautiful.

Beautiful multi-pocket bag supplied in bundle that allows the transport of the torch and all the accessories.
In short, quality product and promoted with flying colors !!!
