KD (kaidomain): Deals and new products thread

@djozz

Glad to see this was resolved. How does the 80CRI tint compare to the 70 CRI variant? Any green? Rosy?

Has anyone tested or compared the efficiency/transmission/beam angle of the kaidomain triple optics vs the Carclo 10507 optic?

There was this thread I found when I was curious about the same thing.

The 3 legs are bigger = easier to drill to install trits.

The tint of the 70 CRI version is superb, bit rosy indeed, this 80 CRI version (looking at the hotspot) is not as rosy, even a bit above the BBL, but I still like it, and see no green at all, more a bit yellow.

Hi Ban,

Can you please kindly check on my order #5039- it has been processed for some time, and I haven’t seen any updates to its status for a while. I would greatly appreciate it!

Hi jericho0o

Your package is ready for shipped out.

As the package had contained the Li-ion battery, i will upgrade to ship by DHL.

Thank you

Ban

Thanks Ban, I appreciate it!

KF8 LUMINUS SST-40 DE-DOMED, it look great… how about you give some beamshots??

Check this, this is C8+ with sst40 DD at 5A

Thanks a lot 1stein, appreciates it. :+1:

But, sst40/20 or even Nichia 219c/b that I came across with in BLF, are sets of HIGH CRI led. I want to see whether the flashlight beamshot pass High CRI test with great result…

I doubt sst40 is high CRI. Contrary to sst20…

Luminus has a limited set of tints and CRI.
All SST-20 above 4000K is 70CRI, all 4000K and lower is 95CRI.
SST-40, lowest CCT is 5000K is all 70CRI

This is what we needed : an expert’s explanation

Or just someone who has read the datasheets

Right… Someone who read datasheets and understands them

Let me put that on my notes….done!
Wait, “…-djozz”

Cheers!

If only Luminus would release a 5000k 95CRI SST-20 and a high CRI SST-40.

That would be soooo good.
