When will you produce a zoomie?

We will produce zoomie light in the near feature.

A LEP zoomie?

YES!

What is the beam intensity of the 4000K and the >90CRI version?

So, does it come with a tripod and telescope, to hold the light still, and see the target 1.5 miles away?

wle

It does illuminate stuff closer by as well
I think that the beam is not that different from the BLF GT, illuminating a smaller area (about 5 times smaller in area) a bit brighter, but I still think it can be a useful illumination. I have seen the illumination that the Maxabeam gives (up to 12 Mcd), even that one can be applied as a useful beam without telescopes and such.

just saying

if the beam angle is smaller than the angular resolution of the eye, then - well i have lasers already - they are pretty bad flashlights !

Any sightings of  Price?

Looks fantastic. Also interested in specs for the high CRI and 4000K varieties.

The angular resolution of a healthy human eye is about 30cm at a km, we are not there yet

HKE has a price of 259$

So is this laser as in “Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation” or is it laser as in “tactical teeny weenie narrow spot flashlight”?

It's a laser phosphor system using a real blue laser.

lenght 119,1 mm ? probably a mistake in the specification

Lasers have speckle and are also monochromatic which makes them very bad for illumination.
This is not just a laser, it is laser phosphor, basically a higher intensity LED with a laser diode instead of a regular blue diode.

It is laser pumped phosphor.

What would be the situation where someone need a >90 CRI laser?

It’s not a CRI90 laser, the laser used here has negative CRI. It’s CRI90 phosphor.

And this item is not a laser. It is a flashlight.
