Darn it. I thought this said titanium (not gray).

Anxiously waiting for my panda to arrive, should look sharp! (and come to think of it, it’ll be my first white flashlight)

Well, I looked at these, butt I went with the 2.0 rated at 650lemons w/magnetic tail. (and cheaper) :money_mouth_face:

Interesting pico.

Tool AA 2.0 would be perfect light as a gift for elderly people if it on had just one mode ON/OFF.
This days it is impossible to find small ON/OFF led light powered by AA battery.
Btw, I like the “white” color.

They have been selling a single mode AA/14500 SK68 for almost 153 years now.

Tried 1 or 2 of those, driver is sh, flickers, no low battery warning…
Would rather like Tool AA

So? Is the magnetic tail cap included?
I guess not?

no

just the diffuser

:frowning: Sad, the magnetic tailcap would be a plus!
Does the one of the v1 fits on the v2?

beside the color mismatch...

threads are identically

works on Titanium gray without problems

white not good (seems tail threads are conductive)

I ordered the Titanium Grey and received White. :frowning:

Almost ready to pull the trigger, but I’m wondering about the current draw. In Bilakos’s review of the previous (black) version, it appears as if the light draws around 2.6A at 4.1V, and I assume that the load from a full battery will be higher. I’ve got some protected Soshine 14500s that I bought some time ago which were never used, and the wrapper states they are rated for 2.7A. Can I use those batteries without tripping the protection circuit? Or has the output been reduced with this light (550lm instead of 650lm - not sure if that’s a mistake), so that it now draws a lower current?
